Exactly, whether you love it or hate it, its great publicity, and invokes the passion of supporters

As dominant as Shaq has been in his career, i'll always remember him for his overblown ego and inability to handle the situation of not always being "The guy". His great one-liner, "I got hurt on company time, i'll heal on company time" always highlighted his commitment to the team cause. In saying that, he's a gem off the court as he rarely disappoints.

I don't mind an over-blown ego. He has 4 rings to back it up with along with 3 finals MVP's. Talk the talk, walk the walk... only problem is Shaq needs to stop talking the Talk very soon....

i have no problem with Shaq talking it up and ripping into Kobe about his Finals performance, its just when he keeps bringing up things from years ago that make me wonder why he can't just let it go, Kobe has.

I remember before he went to college Mayo was being touted along the same line as Lebron, although not to the same extent. Haven't seen much of him in college but he'd be a good pick from 3-5 slots. Rumours are that Pat Riley is souring on Beasley and wants Mayo, don't see him passing up on Beasley with the No.2 pick, unless he trades down.

Beasley seems to be experiencing the odd sensation of shrinkage, in college he was listed at 6-10, in draft work outs he was listed at 6-9 and in a private session i think he was measured at something like 6-7 to 6-8.

he was in a really bad system and it took him a little longer than exspected

but check out hes 2nd half of the season it was awesome , Rose was just lucky he got some help or it would of been Mayo going at 1

If JO is healthy, advantage Raptors. He's exactly what's needed but he's been a corpse the last two years so who knows.

Nets trade Jefferson to Milwaukee for Yi & Simmons. I like that trade for both teams. Yi can be somebody else's project, Simmons never adjusted and the Nets shed payroll in anticipation of LeBron.

Going to be interesting to see where Maggette ends up now that Clips have agreed terms with Baron. Not many teams out there with cap space so let's see what he gets now. Gilbert will resign with Wizards.

Spurs to offer Maggette the full MLE - about $5.8m. Maggette has reportedly said that it's not all about money and he wants to win, so that's going to be tempting I'd imagine. Celtics also interested and going to offer similar I think.

Really? A starting five of Davis, Mobley, Thornton, Brand & Kaman with a couple decent bench guys is laughable? They may not be contenders but that's a pretty nice core. Outside shooting, post players, athletic as hell. Add 1 vet through FA off the bench and it would be interesting.

My apologies, hadn't heard that rumour.

That would be funny but I doubt it will happen, Brand opted out to take less money and he & Davis are good friends.
