Wow, clanks the open three after Daniels bit on the fake. Game 5 in Miami, a lot of pressure back on the Heat. To be fair, great comeback as this game had no right to go to overtime at half-time. Loved the half time barb thrown out by Rondo as well.

Some of these geniuss saying Durant is better than Lebron have no idea. Lebron is a better passer, better rebounder, better defender. All that combined outweighs whatever advantage Durant may or may not have as a scorer.

Onto todays game. Lebron carried the team. He scored a clutch 3 in the final minute of the 4th to tie the game. Both he and Pierce fouled out of the game. Wade went scoreless in OT.

Wade let Lebron down. He owed Lebron. They were only in the game because of Lebron and Wade couldn't deliver.

Both series are at 2-2, it really could go anywhere from here. I reckon the NBA will be dying for a OKC-Heat finals, Lebron v Durant, Wade v Westbrook. I reckon Stern has a heart attack if it's the retirement home finals in Spurs v Celtics.

Boston will rate regardless but the Heat are obviously preferable.

OKC have the Big Mo right now, a great series.

Lol BM once again you show you have NFI about most things including the American market. Boston and San Antonio are easily the biggest markets out of the 4 remaining. Agree that Miami will rate purely because of the LeBron hate.

It's a country of 300 million people. More people in Chicago and New York and LA and Philly and Phoenix want to watch Durant and Westbrook than Duncan and Ginobli.

OKC v Miami rates more than SA v Boston every day of the week.

And it's even more the case if you think long term. SA and Boston are sunset teams at the end of their reigns. Miami, and especially OKC have many years left. The NBA will get a lot more out of marketing them as champions next season than they will SA and Boston.

A Boston-Spurs Finals would rate higher IMO than anything else, would get a lot of viewers interested in the KG/Duncan matchup. But from a marketing stand-point, am sure the NBA would prefer OKC-Heat Finals to promote the next generation of superstars.

James was due to hit that three, had gone 0-7 from outside of 10 feet before that. Also had 7 turnovers so not exactly a great game from the self proclaimed king.

I gotta LOL at Coach Spo's "play-calling" on those two critical possessions though (final in regulation and final in ot), both of which consisted of isolating James or Wade at the top of the key before a weak drive & pass or pull-up three., respectively. Wow - how about running a stagger screen or even a basic pick and roll on those plays coach!

Well there's one thing we agree on. Spoelstra has frustrated me. It sucks that there's one of the great coaches of the modern era down the hall but it's Spoelstra that coaches all this talent.

If Miami falls short again either Riley trades Wade and/or Bosh or he takes over. I can't see him going with the status quo for a 3rd season.

Boston must win game 5 to have any chance of winning this series. They cant win game 7 in Miami.
Boston vs anyone is the west would be a great series.....with LeBrick watching it from the bars and clubs in Miami

Yeah game is make or break. I think Boston will rue 2 things come the end - not closing out Philly when they had a ridiculous lead which took the series longer and pretty much just made game 1 a gimme for Miami (which they still almost won) and not finishing the job in game 2. Boston should really be 3-1 up.

Spurs in big trouble here. OKC are hitting their jumpers and SA just can't seem to find a way to stop them.

Agreed,

Spurs at home, the pressure is on, OKC are just doing their thing, can they maintain? What an upset if they do.

And then their offense has slipped away again. It seems when they aren't making shots their defence begins to crumble too. OKC up by 9 heading into the fourth - I can't see the Spurs making up the defecit.
