What are your thoughts so far?

I actually thought the T-Wolves played well.

They are a pretty deep team when you think about it now.

Starting 5 - PG Rubio, SG Wes Johnson, SF Derrick Williams, PF Kevin Love, C Darko Milicic

Reserve 5 - PG Barea/Ridnour, SG Ellington/Wells/Lee, SF Beasley, PF Randolph, C Miller/Tolliver

Now are they a championship team...hell no...but they should win more than 20 games this year. I reckon they'll be around 0.500.

Rubio and Williams looked really good today...and tbh I wouldn't have paid Barea...but either way. Kevin Love looks thinner...and has more range now..he's going to be great this year.

I have no idea why they got Barea. I would have backed Rubio as my starting point guard and Ridnouer as experience of the bench. I know Barea will be useful off the bench but I thought it was a bit of a waste of salary cap.

Too bad the season isn't 82 games with a full pre season because the Pacers looked like hot shit in the first quarter then played exactly like a team that hasn't done anything for a long time for the 2nd half.

I think we'd have done better in a full season getting better and gelling as the year went on, woth a crammed schedule on next to no pre season then I'm confident of improvement but not the full potential.

I want the bitch ass Bulls in the playoffs.

its a short season to many games so close together could hurt the players more
and no way is barea a waste of cap hes a very good player and a massive upgrade over ridnour who really was terrible last year
not forgetting his son is very sick and almost died so i think it was a wise move

we went 6-1 last year in preseason and we were the worse team in reg season
at this stage its so hard to tell,i really think we need to make a move for a starting sg cause wes is not one :?

As JC said, using pre-season form to predict their regular season can be a bit tricky.

They're certainly going to be an interesting team and I agree that they'll be better than people expect. Plus they have no incentive to suck this season :)

The fact the wolves got Adelman as HC should be enough to improve their record greatly.

in a way i can see why the nba wouldnt accept either minne 1st by it self for paul, imagine if they got the pick only and we ended up finishing with the 10-15th pick

Jordans dunk today right between Gasol and Bynum was siiiiick.

Billups of the backboard to Griffin was alright too I suppose,

Damn this team is going to be some fun.

Chauncey and Paul back court looks like its going alright. Lakers really, really need to try and get Howard because other wise they aren't going to be anywhere near a championship.

Imo the Lakers championship window closed the moment they traded Odom for nothing. Even if they acquire Howard, the cost would probably be so much that the team wouldn't be that improved.

Yeah true. They would have to give up Gasol and Bynum leaving a Kobe/Howard team which isn't enough to get it done.

Now that Odom is gone as well their bench is woeful.
