I like the D'Antoni signing tbh.

I think his style suits their existing personnel...and Nash basically can just pick up and run with it.

It is a style that Kobe & Howard used for Team USA as well.

On Another point over the weekend...Can someone explain how DeMarcus Cousins gets 2 games for what he did?

Thomas Robinson basically decapitated Jerekbo and got two games yet Cousins gets 2 games. Steve Blake told a fan to basically f**k off....and got a $25k fine.

Seems like massive overkill. What you guys think?

As for D'antoni, Don't mind the signing. Obviously Phil is the greatest coach they could of got but the triangle is complicated, and Dwight isnt that smart, and it doesnt make the best use of Nash. I think it would of taken longer then 1 season.

D'antoni will definately help the offense, and he is a good coach, he hasnt been to the finals but he still had some very good seasons with the Suns. I even bagged him for NY, but looking back that team was thrown together randomnly and had no chemistry.

Second Year - Made Playoffs
Third Year - Made Playoffs
Fourth Year - Made Playoffs

As Coach of New York:

First Year - Didn't make playoffs

What that tells me is it might take him a year or two to start fulling showing the potential of the team under his offense, but he's never coached a team with this much talent, I think we will make the playoffs this year purely based on our individual skill (Similar to what Miami did with the first year of the Big 3) - But watch out next year, especially if we can resign Dwight, Lakers have to be favourites to win the championship.

In fairness to Mike, you can't really hold those first two years in NY against him as the Knicks were obviously trying to position themselves for the Summer of Lebron by trying to clear as much cap space as possible. Winning wasn't really a priority in Mike's first two years in NY.

The Philadelphia 76ers say prized offseason acquisition Andrew Bynum will be out at least five more weeks and probably longer because of continuing complications with his right knee.

Bummer about Bynum but I am not phased.. I'd like for us to miss the playoffs anyway. Turner just does not fit us, though 12ppg, 3 ast and 9 boards isn't bad. Holiday is getting it done though with 18ppg and 9.5 ast

Yeah i dont think Lebron will get it this year. Minutes are down a bit, I think Spo might rest him more then last year, should their performance allow it.

Yeah I'm kinda mad, got Bynum on my Fantasy team, guess I'll just have to suck it up and wait it out for him to get back.

I think they'll win the west and be in the finals this year.

Perhaps, I think it's more likely that we'll get knocked out in the Conference Semi or Conference Final this season.

You know i've never been convinced that Bynum was ready to be the man. Skillwise yes, but mentally and physically he's not there imo.

His knees tend to keep him out for atleast one extended period a season, and his maturity is questionable as well.

In saying that I think he could really push Howard for the title of best centre in the coming seasons if he does get it going.

Anyway hope to see him back on the court asap.
