Celts could very well push the 70 game barrier IF they can stay healthy. They went close two seasons ago while imo this team is deeper than the one that won the title.

LA have the talent to exceed 70 as well but we just dont have to neccessary lock down defense to reach it.

LA needs overtime to beat Houston.

Not good signs tbh, I suppose things will improve once Pau comes back.

Fisher with 0 points, 0 rebounds and 0 assists in 34 minutes of action.

I didn't even think that was possible.

I couldnt believe Fisher "achieved" that lolll, how can you not get 1 assist, or 1 point or pick up a single rebound in 34mins on court, that is unbelievable haha

A scrappy OT win against the Rockets but we are doing enough on the road, it is very early in the season so not a major deal yet and obviously when Gasol comes back we will be much stronger.

Btw I think I'm falling in love with Kobe all over again now that he's entered his post-up phase.

Seeing him work his post-moves is somewhat arousing.

Cleveland lose again at home, this time to Chicago. They've already lost as many home games this season as they did all of last season.

I suppose as long as they are clicking come playoffs, it won't be too big a deal.

Hard to be see what the Cavs do at this point....stand pat and ride it out, hoping that everything works itself out for April? Or make a play for another piece that can help them now?

Everyone seems to be talking about a Jackson-Ilgauskas swap, but that only works in my mind if LeBron slides up to the 4, but that has obvious negative defensive implications with LeBron being required to guard inside. That would also open up minutes for Hickson, who was fairly solid for a 20 year old rookie last year.

I'd imagine a floor spacing four would a more pressing requirement but there aren't too many of those around that are available.

Wouldn't acquiring Captain Jack hurt Cleveland's cap space for next off-season in terms of acquiring another marquee player?

Yeah one of the main problems you guys have is that when you start a combination Shaq and Varejao, there is no spacing as both guys make their living in the paint and neither can hit outside shots. Big Z helps with that a bit but he's slowed down considerably and playing Shaq and Big Z together is pretty much an open invitation for opposing teams to unleash pick-and-roll mania.

Sheed would have been absolutely PERFECT for what the Cavs needed.

I'm sure in the end the Cavs will work things out. How bad a hit their season record takes in order to fix things is another question.

Boston's undefeated start comes to an end as they lose to the Suns at home.

Pretty impressive by the Suns. Dropping 110 points in Boston is no easy feat.

Bogut's game was impressive, especially given his production came in only 28 minutes. If only could stay healthy for the entire season...

Forget about Lebron, Kobe, Melo, Wade and have a look at Cp3's numbers for the first 6 games.

28.5 ppg, 10 apg - 64% FG and 72% 3PT.

Those are epic numbers, even for such a small stretch. Pity he has zero help.

Holy smokes we got destroyed. Watching the game, I always wonder why SVG leaves it so late in the second quarter before he re-introduces D12? One of those strange phenomenon's we'll never know the answer to. Oh well...

Along those same lines, take a look at what Chris Bosh has done though six games:

28.5 ppg, 11.8 rpg, 53% FG and 100% (5-of-5) 3PT

Hard to believe he's in a contract year!!

Would also just like to quickly wrap Josh Smith, whilst his numbers on the surface don't jump off the page, he's playing so much better this year because he's binned the 3 pointer so far, hasn't launched once from downtown, and has rediscovered how to block shots. He's also playing the fewest minutes per game since his rookie season so his per game averages are down but his overall effectiveness has leaped massively. Not sure he'll keep shooting 57% from the field but if he bins the outside shots, he should average in the low 50s% which makes him a lote more effective. Now, all he has to start doing is hitting his damn free throws again....

I really like the addition of Crawford for the Hawks. Another scorer who can take load of Johnson and Smith. Plus he seems to have fit well into his 6th man role. Pity he wasted most of his career on scrub teams
