What about Reggie Evans for Toronto lol had 16 boards and 14 boards his first two games and has now got 10 in the 1st quarter against the Kings lol
Evans is an absolute beast of a rebounder, the sole value he adds. The hilarious thing is he's played 94 minutes and scored just 8 points! That must be some sort of record?!

I like Conley as a player but that contract is way over the top IMO - although I heard it was for $40m, which is a bit more reasonable. He's started this year on fire, so if he can keep it up it he'll be worth it but if he regresses back to his career norm then it's a long term commitment that they'll regret.

Knicks Game Postponed

Following last night's Rangers game, during overnight maintenance of Madison Square Garden, which included cleaning asbestos-related materials in the attic above the ceiling, some debris fell into the Arena.

Out of an abundance of caution, we are postponing tonight's Knicks v. Magic game. We will be working with the city and independent experts, ATC Associates and GCI Environmental Advisory, to evaluate and determine the most appropriate course of action. As the safety of our customers and employees are our top priority, we will not reopen the Garden until we are absolutely assured the Arena is safe.

Ticketholders are advised to retain their tickets, and return to nyknicks.com for rescheduling information. We will announce information about future events as soon as they have been determined.

Madison Square Garden apologizes for any inconvenience.

Damn, was looking forward to this one.

We don't like to blurb every bit of speculation we hear, since maybe 10 percent of it pans out, but the money details lend some credibility to what Ford is saying -- which is that the Hawks can't afford to keep him, Joe Johnson, and Horford. We've privately been hearing that a Kevin Love-Smith trade could be in the works, but again, all of this is speculation.

I dunno if you have heard this one tiger hawk but I thought it was interesting.

Hadn't heard it but it's interesting. Horford seems like a pretty good fit next to Love and if Al continues to develop and refine his low-post game, Love would seem to provide a floor-spacing presence that Smith doesn't.

Having said that, Smith is the vastly superior defensive player and that's where we constantly fall short, defending team. If we trade our best defensive player for merely a slightly better offensive player I'm not sure we'd improve as a team.

I also think Smith is the better all-around player, so I'd be expecting another player from Minnesota to make it even. I'd hate to trade him just to save money.

Edit: I like this trade better (would also include draft pick or two). A Paul-Johnson-Williams-Horford-Okafor starting 5 would contend out East IMO.

Wizards vs Philly game getting interesting. Cartier Martin hits a 3 at the buzzer to send it into OT.

Wall beasting it again.

25 points 12 assists and 8 steals going into OT

At least one of these teams are going to get off the mark for the season. Philly up by 1 with 14 seconds left.

And Iggy clunks it at the buzzer. Wizards win 116-115 and get their first win of the season.

Do TO's count in potential quadruple doubles?

If so Wall went pretty close.

29 points 13 assists 9 steals and 8 turnovers

Was just going to say that!

9 steals is effing crazy.

Rondo with a lazy 17 assists. 67 assists through 4 games, wow. If he could shoot he would hands down be the best point guard in the game.

Averaging 16.75 assists through 4 games. While you'd expect that to balance out, he seems in prime position to be the league's assist leader. Can't see D-Will and Cp3 going higher than 11. Kidd will be around 9-10. Wall's going to have to be relied to score too much to be a realisic candidate.

Given that Boston have so many weapons, and given that Rondo rarely looks to get his own (with good reason), averaging 12+ assists for the season should be fairly easy for him.

Wall's 9 steals are insane.

Man...if that kid becomes more efficient with his shooting and cuts down the turnovers...wow..
