I can't get over how much of a fool The Colonel is making of himself.

Get out of the thread before you embarrass yourself any further.

You've taken top billing in here.

2pac owes his success to no one but himself. He was born a star. And it was a miracle that he struggled through what he did and became what he became.

2pac raps about REAL subjects with passion.

Public Enemy, Grandmaster Flash and Run DMC among others were rapping about REAL subjects long before Tupac picked up a microphone. Go back look at the history that surrounds the genre and look who they accredit as pioneers. He, along with many others, owe plenty to those that paved the way. He rode the coat tails of rap when it became popular. A sixteen yr old, Manuwera Marlin, even has the sense to see that.

The Beatles are just a bunch of clowns singing about yellow submarines and sh*t.

You have been taken to task by frank over the Beatles so I won't beat you up aymore about why that statemnt is so far from the truth its not funny.

You obvious have never listened to any 2pac albums. If you had, you wouldn't deny his messages and passion.

I've listened. Much of it is excatly the same as plenty of other of his genre have released. Passionate, yes. Individual, nowehere near.

To say people create songs out of samples to "turn them into new songs" is bullsh*t, nearly every new song, is in fact that 2pac made it, ready for release after he was gone. Only a few songs are cobbled together such as Changes and Tha Realest Killas.

Rappers have been sampling other peoples work for ever and a day. There lyircs may be different, most often they are a play on others. To release as many albums as they have eight years after he died they either have a direct line to the afterworld or someone is really taleneted with a computer. You choose.

Have some respect for someone who made several movies, 100s of songs, wrote poetry, wrote a screen play, did concerts and partyed. He did more in a couple of years than a hundred people would do in 100 life times.

Elvis and The Beatles appeared in many movies, wrote much music, played many many concerets and did three times as much as what Tupac (Acrylic, Baked Enamel or whatever his name is) ever did.

Hell even Britney Spears "acts" and even better she appeared on the Mickey Mouse Show" I suppose you find her talented too?

Have some respect for some one who touched so many people world wide and made their life a little be easier, finding some hope and solace inhis songs. 2pac touched so many people intimately, what did the Beatles do? Sing crap dinky songs that people think sound good. Well that is great, if that is your thing. I respect that. And normally you wouldn't ever hear me diss the Beatles or Elvis, but I wont accept some ignorant pricks coming in here and dissing 2pac.

2pac will always be remembered, as being the realist, the most passionate, the loyalist, the greatest rapper to ever live, a fantastic actor of unlimited potentional and a man with a simply amazing work ethic.

The way his legacy is being exploited by his "foundation" he'll be remembered for coffee table books and clothing lines far more than his music.

BTW I'm glad you got to read the letter from his mom too.

He did all this in several years and was taken away from us before he could reach his true potental.

If you know nothing about 2pac, leave this thread now.

I do know plenty, can learn plenty more from his book which was quite an interesting read. So can you. Truth is Tupac is the Cobain of rap. More famous now than when he was alive. At least John Lennon, Elvis and George Harrison managed to build a legacy BEFORE they died.

Dimebag was a rascist, drunk, fat idiot, who talked so much sh*t, it is no wonder he is dead.

tu pac was a racist, a drunk, drug dealer/taker , Was put up for rape , started a fight the night he died, and talked alot of sh*t , so what now you think tu pax didnt deserve to die yet he did much more than dimebag

Tupac wasn't racist. Maybe you should do some research, he didn't hate white people.

He was cleared of any rape charge, that was a set up.

He didn't start a fight, Anderson started it earlier in the night stealing a Deathrow medalian.

2pac backed up nearly everything he said, no matter what. He was real and proved it time and again.

He wasn't a drunk  No more than anyother normal person. For a miserable drunk he certainly was a focused hard worker.

He dodged bullets pretty damn well the first time he was shot.

Of course...only white people can be racist...how silly of us  By the way, just because Darrell was Texan and had a Confederate Flag guitar, that doesn't make him a racist.

He was a pothead though, correct? As was Darrell. Seems like our boys are quite similar...

He was shot 5 times. But the shots didn't kill him and he survived. Hence he dodged bullets pretty well.

Yes but they missed vital organs such as the brain and heart and lungs.

I can't believe you dumb f**ks would hi jack this thread with your anti Pac bullshit.

I wouldn't intrude on a thread about dickwit dimwhorebag.

One thing is for sure, in a month he will be forgotten and 2pac's legend will continue to grow.

Now piss off, low lives. If you aren't interested in 2pac forget inputting. If you are just going to hate on him unjustly. You are just ignorant.

the reason 2 pac has had so many albems since his death is because he practically lived in the stuido, he record litterally hundreds of tracks, but only released certain tracks, the bloke has enough unreleased songs in storage for anther 10 albems

Hence his unbelieveable work ethic, if he wasnt doing a tour or concert he was in the studio writing and recording tracks. Diehard i think we may aswell give up, these people havnt a clue on what 2 pac was about, they have no idea what they are talking about.

I stand by my comment, 2 Pac was to rap what the beatles were to pop. Despite what some will have you believe 2 Pacs success can be only credited to one person 2 pac, not Run DMC, Public Enemy or Grandmaster Flash. The Beatles are legends, shit loads of cred but you people seriously should start showing some respect for 2 Pac, he was and even in death still is a great artist. That is a testiment to his work, 7 years dead and still king of rap.

Although they are all great rap artists 2 pac took the rap world and made it what it is today, thats why wankers like Jay Z and Ja Rule claim they would have been hanging with Pac, not Run DMC or any of the others, they wanted to be with Pac

Reality is Pac would of slaped most these commercial f**ks like Jay Z and Ja Rule around the chops. The closest rapper to 2pac these days is DMX, and even he is miles apon miles away from 2pac
