I'm a big Adidas fan so sad to see them go .. however these aren't too bad.

Not against the black kit for T20's .. but the green / gold stripes are poor.

I seem to recall the rationale at the time was to bring the colour of the baggy green to the ODI format.

Yes that was exactly the reason.

Plus after quarter of a century of being dubbed canary yellow they finally got fed up with it. In fact until last season their away kit was Wallaby Gold not yellow

I had only seen the top part of the T20 kit but those pants are plain ugly. The top is alright design wise, however doesn't have an Australian feel about it at all.
