Correct.
It was the same genius who let Robson/Leilua/Host/Garrick and Saab go.
But I blame Hunt, just because I enjoy blaming him for everything. I'm sure it's his fault that interest rates keep going up too.
hunt,s is our version of trump blame him for everything the difference is hunts a sook and brainless but trumps smart and tuff

Yep that list look a a bit like the fish that John West rejects, especially in the halves…hence we need the Hunt $$ to grab a ‘signed to 2025’ prospect accelerated forward.
Add to that;
Josh Kerr $$$
Mbye $$$
Fuimano $$$
Ramsey $$$
Jack Bird $$$
Maybe 1 or two more released or not signed.
More moneyball signings for next year likely..

I think we need a genuine 14 who is a serviceable halfback and can do a stint at hooker.... as we need coverage for Sullivans injuries (lets be real, its a damn long season)... and if Sullivan is fit.. we have a huge upgrade over MBye off the bench.

That to me is KFlanagan, maybe CWatson (though more a 6 than a 7 I believe), other wise your looking at someone like maybe a AClune or someone of that ilk...

Basically we cant recruit a young-gun 7 who is going to expect a starting position.. and we dont really want to buy a washed up halfback to block pathways.. that said we do need a regular 7 in NSW Cup, and im not really sure where Herring or King-Togia actually end up positionally..

The other factor is hooker.. is the club ready to move on from Mulheissen or r they backing him? Was Ipape an indication they want to 'upgrade' Liddle? Once again its a difficult jigsaw.. but a halfback/hooker imo is what we need.

Watching that Panthers understudy Jack Cogger. He is a good half. Takes on the line, quick, well weighted kicks and seems to tackle OK. Actually, looks better than the previous understudy chap that went to Dolphins.

Unless he leaves Panthers, then Cogger plays reserve grade until Cleary leaves in 5+ years.

If Sullivan feeds the bulldogs scrum next year, Cogger would be a good replacement.

I agree

Buzz and Flanno probably had a hangover breakky at a local Cronulla cafe and Buzz was the more hungover and F'd up what Flanno may have said.

Maybe Deano can bring a few cows with him, and I dont mean the ones that give milk, we already have a few of them in the side.
Like our own bitch tits Lawrie aka Cake aka Bloka - "cheese"?

Love him alot and his passion for the Red V, but unfortunately, he's barely a bench prop in today's "modern" version of the NRL game akin to WWE

Jack Cogger is fool's gold, imo. A serviceable cog who happens to be slotting into the most well-oiled machine in the comp. He's reached his ceiling.

If the unthinkable happens and we do lose Bud, I'd be moving heaven and earth to poach Jonah Pezet from the Storm
And 360 last night were saying cogger was after a 2 to 3 year deal.. hes had a few clubs and is lucky to have been parachuted into the Penrith system

When there's F...all news ever coming from the club, we desperately cling onto any news in the vague hope of something positive. In our case, it's death by one thousand billion slashes.
By the way, our wonderful club still can't find the time from their obvious busy schedule to update player profiles. What an embarrassment!

Sometimes I wonder why I bother.

I'd say don't bother. From a professional viewpoint, I find that the club we follow is shit. They are poor administrators, they lack ability to promote the club and players, they lack foresight, they lack achievable goals and planning, they just lack heaps more stuff to be a successful enterprise.

I just cannot believe that the joint venture has a billionaire businessman as one of the owners of the club. I cannot understand why that person doesn't come out and face all the fans and show strong support for the club and the players, like Rusty Crowe?

The club needs to be able to get hoards more fans to follow it - us Forumites, unfortunately the older ones won't be around forever and therefore they have to promote the club well to attract thousands of more younger ones to follow the Dragons and to do this, we need to win a premiership or two in the next decade at least.
