I normally wait till September to jump on the Sharkies bandwagon. This will mix things up, Might be onboard from round 1 in 2018
Welll they are fast becoming our local team. If they can get Jennings across from Parra I’ll buy a stinking jersey. How depressing lol. Fortunately I’m in Manila, I’ll go and get my dick sucked & think about something else.

Moylan 6.
Pearce 7.

Would be dreamlike:grinning:

If Moylan goes to fb for a year, the flanno move might be Graham at 6 which is crap. Moylan and Chad is worrying... I'm all for Moylan but torn about Maloney.. who kicks the goals? Does Pearce kick? Guess its probably Holmes... Now to complete this audacious player swaps send Loots to the golide for Hayne and bring Pierce onboard... Hell of a backline.

I want Moylan, but I didn’t want it to be at the expense of Maloney. I was hoping we’d have both.
I think Moylan is a huge suck. Still can't work out what his problem with the Panthers is. Plus he is a mate of Fifita's.
Big risk, considering Dugan is too. Beginning to think, place will collapse when Gall not there to hold together.

On Holmes release. Only a rumour I heard. Would be stupid.
But more likely if not on wing. That's why Hayne swap is not out of question That is not a rumour , just a thought.

I don't get the anti Loots sentiment. Gives more than current Hayne at 1/4 price.
Surely Gray doesn't start.

I'll be disappointed to lose Maloney. Yeah he had an ordinary sort of season but he's still the steady head and player to pull out the big play when needed. Be interesting to see if he's targeted by refs at Penriff.

As long as the use of tip sheets is still in play with the refereeing ranks, he will always be targeted. The same as Fifita.

Maloney has nothing to prove.
won gfs and is currently in the australian side.
he has come out of outstanding systems playing under belamy, cleary, robinson and now with us.
He is a true leader on the field and a cool head under pressure.
Moylan has proven nothing.
He was pushed into a leadership role at penrith and did not want the captaincy by the end.
He's played very little 5/8 and is yet to consistently steer a team around week in week out.
Penrith were weak when they centred the team around moylan. It's no coincidence when he was off the paddock that cleary took the reigns and they made a surge for the finals.

couldn't be more disappointed.

Couldn't agree more. Even though this season gone Maloney had some truly ordinary games, he's got the runs on the board already. I just don't understand the hype around Moylan, what has he produced? Does he have a highlights reel, maybe I've missed something.

Can’t fault anything here.

What worries me is Townsend is no dominating half either.

When the game is on the line you need someone who is confident and arrogant to get the ball and put on a match winning play or do something himself. That guy was Maloney for us.

Hope the Townsend/Moylan combo works but for me both are currently passive “too chilled” individuals. Maloney is very direct, dominant and rolls his sleeves up type of player. He’ll get in someone’s face if that’s what’s required.

Time will tell.

That's all true but a 5/8 doesn't need to steer a team around the park.

The other thing is Maloney did a heap of damage to his reputation this year for mine, he was complete and utter garbage.

How do we know he gets back to previous form? He's not getting any younger.

Moylan wouldn't be the issue, Chad would be.

Get Flanno Jnr playing against men in 2018 and hopefully he can step up in 2019.

Apart from a few clutch plays for W 's and goal kicking accuracy. Let's go for a bloke with heaps of hype and bugger all else instead.

Yeah I know. I think Moylan would reach his potential away from Penrith though. That's just a hunch.

Again, there is no point keeping Maloney if he continues his 2017 form. I doubt he's with us next year so we may as well find someone else.
