On the Moylan vs Tedesco debate................Moylan got the gig. Have to persist with him this series unless he has an absolute mare in Game 2 which is a possibility given how shit the Blues tend to go up there. The issue in Game 1 was his combo at the back with Ferguson. They need to sort that shit out.
If Tedesco is the gun he thinks and everyone reckons he is, he will continue on his upward trajectory this season and into next year where his selection cannot be denied. Injury in the few weeks leading into this series probably hurt his chances.
One thing is a given, Daley f**ked up selections in several areas for Game 1. The team lost. Whether it was by 2 or 20, the next match is a new battle the result NSW need is the same.......a WIN up there which has been nigh on impossible for this bunch in recent series.
As I said after Game 3 last year and prior to this series, it was time to bring in the new wave without Gallen, Bird, Farah & Scott. NSW's development has been set back yet another series. New blokes next year will also struggle so realistically, a series win won't be forthcoming for NSW until 2018, and that'll be 11-1 in the last 12 series and 3 on the trot for QLD. NSW selectors and coaches should hang their heads in shame for the debacle they've presided over in this time. NSW is not that inferior.
