big hit!

This attitude is why NSW have struggled to score more than 10 points a game for years.

It's time to be aggressive and focus on the positive things the players can do with the ball, not the potential negatives.

Get Jack Bird in at right centre. And put Cartwright and BJ on the bench. All of a sudden that's a team that looks capable of scoring 3-4 tries a game.

What about team balance?

With BJ & Cartwright as interchange, that leaves only two middle forwards on for the remaining bench spots? This team will run out of puff before any of those players can do their thing on the edges.

BJ at RC, Graham replaces Cordner at LF, Jack Bird or Lewis as the utility interchange, and that leaves 3 replacements for the middle rotation.

All well good having exciting X-factors, but they have to fit into a rugby league team structure too.
Cartwright will have to wait until next season for his chance.

scott only ever plays on the right. switching to the left would be foreign to him. the #4 defender is pretty important position in defence. he gets his assignment wrong and everyone outside him pays for it. edge forwards are becoming fairly specialised these days.

left for left would be graham for cordner.

if you want scott in, jackson pays the price, but i'd rather frizell. time for the future. gallen, farah and bird will all be gone soon too.

No surprise to hear that Boyd Cordner was Players' Player for NSW. Give him an 80min role and shock horror he has a great game and instantly becomes NSW most dominant forward

His injury really is such a devastating blow; both for him personally and NSW. But Graham will do a great job if they pick him.

Again, just on Leilua. Origin is all about attitude, especially in defence, and i just dont see BJ digging in when NSW have 3-4 sets on their line. He doesnt have the mentality that ive ever seen to excel in that kind of pressure environment

Hes won us games this year by doing hard yards in attack. His defence is a bit of a negative but his attitude has been good this year. The Raiders would have lost against the panthers in rd 1 if not for some big hitups from bj in the heat.

As a QLD fan I really hope NSW don't pick Leilua. I said a while back that in the back half of his last season with Newcastle he was possibly the best centre in the game, and he has definitely improved this year.

Seriously what's the worst that could happen for NSW - lose another series lol?

I dont think his defense is bad at all.

he turns his shoulders in right before he is about to wreck someone in defence.

With others like sezer sliding hard behind him its fine.

It’s always a risk vs reward sort of thing with a guy like BJ. I think NSW could really have used him in Game 1 when it became a defensive stalemate. If he doesn’t force himself over, he’s such a handful that he attracts a bunch of defenders and then will get an impossible offload away to his winger. You just have to limit his stupid.

Gosh all those NSW potential halves(Sezer, Austin) looking like shite tonight. Hunt and Milford played well.

Darius will be buoyant in Origin camp after tonight.

Really warming to the idea of Leilua debuting alongside Tedesco.

Queensland needs a group of rookies to destroy the rep careers of.

Moylan - stick with him, he's the most talented young player in the NRL. We must mine his potential. Morris didn't have a brilliant game but his defence was great and he nearly scored a try that would have won the game. The dumb mistakes were an anomaly. I see no reason to drop him. Drop Farah maybe. Didn't seem physically up to it.

Only one change needs to be made. Walker gone for either Ennis or Peats, so Wobbie doesn't have to play 80 and tackle himself dead.
