Lol Brooks and Moses aren't even capable of putting in good performances in the NRL on a regular basis yet alone be ready for origin

Honestly can't see them being close for like another 5 years if it's taken them this long to be somewhat 1st grade standard

Picking blokes with busted shoulders certainly would qualify as a new outlook, not sure it'll catch on though.

I think he's saying should have in the context of, if Teddy wasn't injured he would have been picked at FB and rightly so as he is the most talented fullback NSW have.

Disagree. If Hayne didn't switch codes I'd have no doubts he would have become the greatest player ever, and he probably still is in the top 10 greatest atleast.

Better than Wally Lewis and Joey Johns? Wow, big call. You do realise he couldn't even make the national team consistently in his position right?

As I was saying, if he continued his trade in the NRL there's every possibility he could have

Watch his highlights in origin alone and tell me they aren't better highlights than some players in NRL which is a longer competition

But for one Jarryd Hayne NSW had to show for, QLD have been blessed with Smith, Cronk, Slater, JT and Inglis who all have cases for immortal status except for Inglis I guess

Farah's been their hand brake.

When he's not playing or starting on the bench, these two are pretty f**kin good.

Doesn't matter if your Thurston or Cronk or even Pearce at the Roosters, halves need good service from their acting half.

Thurston gets it from Granville, Cronk gets it from Smith, and Pearce gets it from Friend.

Neither Brooks or Moses do from Farah. They do when Robbie's not there though.

Funny hearing that from an opposition fans perspective, I do agree with what you say though.

A good serviceable dummy half such as Smith/Granville along side Brooks/Moses they'd be really good imo.

But even still, they do throw a lot of balls that hit the deck which is still a learning curve. But then again, only 21. Still pups

Granville gives good dummy half service?

You learn something new every day.

Still, Brook or Moses in Origin 2016... thanks for the laugh.

It's not so much that Granville gives good service, he is just so quick that you can't keep all your focus on JT otherwise he gets the jump on you. Farah has lost a lot of speed at dummy half.

I agree. Granville is a very good hooker. Lightning quick out of dummy half and always a threat. But his service to his halves can be quite shoddy at times, so that's certainly an area he can improve.

Nothing funny about it. I'm not one-eyed. I evaluate everything on its merits, not based on club allegiance.

Here's something.....from a Souths supporter to boot, Reynolds should not be playing Origin. A great kick but does not have the all-round game for this level and does not look like he will develop one to be honest.

He's a great game manager when the middle forwards are rolling along and dominating the opposition, and he'll get the ball wide to capitalise on flat-footed defences, but he's not a player that can put on something by threatening defences.

In saying all that, I hope he has a great game on Wednesday, but a lot has to go right for him for it to happen, and Farah dithering at acting half doesn't help.

Yeah, well that's still providing something to make the halves job that much easier.

Farah doesn't provide that much in attack. A beast in defence, I'll give him that....and you have to remember that he defends in the middle third of the ground against the big boppas, but he he only has eyes for his favourites like Woods and Gallen when it comes to distributing forwards carries, and he really stifles 4th and 5th tackle backline plays.

Morris out. Walker to start and Bird on the bench. Good to see a utility player on the bench as a utility

Morris injury fixes the biggest f**k up in the team. Having a centre who is shit in every other position on the bench as a utility.

Bird can atleast cover centre, halves and lock.

Nothing is wrong with Moz, but we have a genuine utility on the bench and Walker is now playing his specialist position (mind you there's atleast 4 other centres in front of him lol). Not sure how he will go up against Inglis though
