Members always get to renew before the General Public. That is the reason I will stay as one even if I don't go to many games

Pricing is hard they are constraint by what they are charged to use the Ground. Broncs are expensive because of the Govt charges.

Currently we get the ground for free but need to cover upkeep. So can control prices that goes with the new stadium

It's a tough one isn't it ? about being a member.

I was a member when I lived in Sydney. When working I had the most wonderful seat right on the 1/2 way line, undercover western grandstand. Brilliant seats.

When I had to retire (ill health) I was still a member but went over the what was then called 'the black hole' now called the den. The seats were cheaper. But gosh of gosh a lot of fun.

Then about 12 years ago I moved to the country, until last year I kept up a 6 game membership, and came down a couple of times a year.

With Covid last year, me aging, disability getting worse, and of course being on a fixed limited income I sadly gave up my 6 game membership.

My adults kids and I now do a zoom (facetime) catch up when the footy is on, and we watch it together. Not quite the same, but still a lot of fun.

Yes the worrying thing was it was not part of the budget.i had a feeling when no plans had ever been put up it was a worry.but I may be wrong would be a smart move to announce the start and plans after budget as a smoke screen for the budget

You guys do understand that he new stadium is happening from the state govt, not the federal govt. Stuart Ayers is a state govt member for Penrith.

https://www.penrithpanthers.com.au/news/2021/12/09/world-class-stadium-coming-to-penrith/

The federal govt has nothing to do with state matters.

That right but the budget is the perfect deflection if they cancelled do you get that

Sorry I don't.

The state govt is responsible for all sorts of things. Stadiums. Teachers, Schools, Police.......etal

The money is coming from the state govt. Not the federal govt.

Therefore it has nothing to do with last nights budget.

Wait until the state govt has their budget. It will be in a month or so. Money will be allocated for it in that budget. Not last nights.

then the news tommorow must be irrelevant because the state budget has yet to be announced
two things will happen
1 there will be plans and starting date for building announced.lets hope it’s that
2 delay or cancelling of stadium

I’m assuming it may involve official announcement of tenders being called for as I don’t believe that has happened as yet. The demolition of our current stadium will take a fraction of the time it took to demolish Allianz so that should speed up the overall process.

It is the consultation process.

It is a survey about 10 questions.

Asks you to rank what is important in a Stadium.
What you like about the current one
What OS ones you have been too that you like. What about them you like

And so on

Penrith in State and Feds are a swing seat.
Both sides will be in for i

Yes it is a swing seat in both federal and state govts.

I understand the funding and development is comming from the state govt. Because it was announced by the state govt.
