New stadium - 2025

A few wheelchair spots that aren't in the corners would be nice. As it stands the only decent spots are at the door of the Chairmans Club. A few years ago I paid a few grand for a table up there and still missed out on a spot. They ended up moving the little podium the door person stands behind so I could watch out the window. Must have been 2019, because we lost to make things worse. lol.

I was back up there for the first home game of 2020 and they made sure to reserve one of the spots for me. So that was good and we won.

I understand totally what you're saying.

As it stands now, because of my pain levels and lack of mobility, I dan't go to a game without my adult kids. They are fantastic in making sure I'm managing. Those steps in the western grandstand are bloody dangerous. My kids (God Bless Them) guide me and hold my hand to make sure I don't fall.

That's before you deal with all the trip hazards.

I hope for your sake (and others using chairs) that there are wheelchair friendly places on the half way line.

I'm staring down the barrel of a walking frame within the next few years, so I might be joining you. 😂

What will be interesting is how many memberships may get lost with the temporary shift to Parramatta (I am assuming that's where it will be, no official announcement made yet), and whether there is a substantial price hike. I have a family membership but we have never been to CommBank Stadium and would as a minimum would want similar type seats under cover and at the end of an aisle to make it easier for my kids to get in and out. Parramatta is probably not much further from where we live than Penrith is, but I may need to really sell it to my wife in particular. :)

I have a few mates that aren't renewing nor will attend games at Parra.

I am sure it isn't isolated examples either

Not surprised.

I'm working weekends so won't see a single game live this year 😒

One of them drives trucks. Got the Sydney to Brisbane run on a Friday. After he got his membership

Hopefully they come back in the new stadium

Gotta pay the bills. Though the government have allowed the cut of weekend penalty rates which screws us all over.

Hopefully.

I think was last week in the Western Weekender. The concerns raised in that are spot on

Currently the club has a say in the pricing that won't happen in the new place. So there is no guarantee they come back

As far as I know all clubs set the pricing for seats. Hence the differing membership prices at various grounds.

Or will that be determined by the NRL.

As forms of entertainment go, fan memberships are relatively cheap and affordable even for those more affluent an adult platinum membership is still relatively cheap for 11 home games.

Given how strong our membership base currently is, I don’t see things changing when the new stadium is open. The added bonus will be the stadium is likely to seat 28,000 at a minimum so plenty of cheaper general admission or family passes for single game entry For those who either can’t attend most games or can’t afford season tickets.

Have state of the art facilities will make such a difference, just have decent toilet amenities particularly for the girls . The queue to get into the girls toilet facilities in the western stand is appalling. No such issues at Comm Bank Stadium so it will be much the same at ours.

So true Kilkenny the western grandstand toilet facilities (or lack of them) are just plain nasty.

I think there are 6 female toilets for the western grandstand, concourse, and hill area.

Is the club looking at rewarding those who keep memberships over the season away at Parra?. First pick at seats in the new stadium, discounts ect

On another note when is the last time @Panther_Daz posted on here?

I haven’t been in there myself, but that sounds about right judging by the queues. My wife suggests if you leave going to the ladies till half time on a big crowd game you will miss the first 20 minutes of the second half. Assuming the new stadium goes ahead that will be a thing of the past and the boys will be able to walk up and get a few beers in next to no time just like comm bank.

I’m sure they will. We are looking at keeping all our tickets in the hope we get first crack when the time comes.

Someone on here, can’t recall who, suggested Panther Daz was very good friends with former Panther Oliver Clark. I think Ollie has given up the game. He probably still follows us as a supporter I don’t really know but he does have a wide range of other interests including Leeds United in the EPL amongst others.

Liverpool fan myself but I'm hoping Leeds can stay up. They add a lot to the EPL

I searched the member data base and his Panther Daz profile no longer appears? Must of closed his account, if that is possible?

Liverpool fan, that explains a lot.

Much as I dislike Liverpool FC I did the stadium tour of Anfield in 2014 with one of my sons. I swore I would never touch the famous ‘This is Anfield’ sign as you walk down the tunnel leading to the pitch, but alas you are drawn to it like a magnet. Regret touching it to this day.

Members always get to renew before the General Public. That is the reason I will stay as one even if I don't go to many games

Pricing is hard they are constraint by what they are charged to use the Ground. Broncs are expensive because of the Govt charges.

Currently we get the ground for free but need to cover upkeep. So can control prices that goes with the new stadium
