The comparisons you're drawing on now 🤣🤣🤣
Hang on champ, you said you were impressed with the proposed multi city model. I’m simply asking why?
Pointing out no other sports club in the world uses it other than gws. So presumambly you are using the gws outcome as why your impressed?

Getting big crowds in Christchurch and rotarua shows there’s a market for more league games in nz

12 games a year is the minimum for Auckland which is where rugby league is strongest in nz we don’t want to take away too much content from our heartland markets

Warriors belted Storm 56-18 in SG Ball too today but there are no juniors over there either

There is no doubt, problem is unless those cities are willing to stump up $300k plus a game other clubs won’t take games to them, and rightly so from a pure business point Of view.

ideally nrl would use some of the new sky money to sweeten the deal for Australian clubs to take games against the warriors to these cities, but alas no sign of that happening. A lot of what nrl says about nz is lip service.

BAHAHAHAA this thread is so funny. A one off crowd gets about the same as the average super rugby crowd there, yet League is "thriving" and needs a second team here and super rugby is "dying".... You couldn't make this shit up.
