So we've had games in Napier, Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland with a game set for Hamilton and all before great crowds.
Yep, good to see there's a lot of interest in cities other than Auckland for NRL.

New Zealand will probably get the WC or a good chunk of it.
Maybe, NRL is hardly falling over itself to support international RL so its more likely it will get cancelled or delayed until 26/27 I'd suggest.

Abdo has stated he wants another team in NZ,
N he hasn't. He stated he wants to see better pathways in NZ

Tallis also there's talk of magic round at Eden Park. All on the
Not going to happen. It wont leave Brisbane, but if it does it will go to Perth, presuming we're still willing to pay big money for it.

All on the back of a new record deal with Sky paying 30 million.
It is $32million a year

The NRL is all set to start the bidding process for another NZ team
That is unknown and just a guess on your part. There is no evidence that this is the way they will go, and none that it isnt. Time will tell what they decide to do with club 18.

The optimal word is "Contract"... You wouldn't know this, since you don't actually know anything about NZ. There is no chance that the Auckland City Council would bid for it. They are in the middle of a massive cost cutting exercise to avoid massive rates increases. They wont be putting any money into events for a very long time.

yeh like Melbourne2 is a 'consideration' lol. Best way to drive up a products price is create a perception there is more than one buyer. MW is worth $5-10mill hosting fee. Good luck getting a NZ council to stump up that. Adelaide is paying $80mill over 3 years for their version. You think a NZ council can afford it?

Nowhere in that article does Abdo state they are looking to NZ for club 18. All he talks about is improved pathways.

“There’s no doubt New Zealand is an enormous market for us,” he said. “Some of our best players in recent years have come from New Zealand and we’re certainly committed to investing in the region and seeing more talent unlocked and emerge through pathways systems. New Zealand is a critical component of our competition.
“In particular, the commission is focused on innovative measures to enhance the pathways systems and it’s something our clubs are focused on as well.”

NZRL couldnt afford to underwrite a world cup. NZ govt, it sounds like, are unlikely to. So that leaves the NRL to underwrite it. Not impossible but given the 2 year turn around and risk involved it wouldn't be a surprise to see them refuse to do so given their disinterest in the international game,

You guys can stay in denial all you like. The growth engine for the NRL over the 2 decades is NZ.
There's a 5 million + market sitting on our doorstep. It's happening.

Not denying anything, it may or may not happen. There is nothing definitive announced for club18 location yet and to suggest there is is disingenuous.

NRL has a long history of ignoring NZ, funding NZRL at a pittance level and being happy to take the best NZ talent at a young age to furnish the Australian clubs. If that mentality has changed is unclear at this time.

Like i have said before, if there is one thing you can count on, it's the self interest of Aussie League. They will make much more money from another Aussie team and will still be able to continue to rape NZ of its talent, right up until the game here dies.

eden park full on Friday , Sat & Sunday hosting all 8 games would be good

but time difference will rule it out
games would be starting too early NZ time for a reasonable kickoff time , or too late for NZ spectators if it was based on Aust TV times ( which it will be )
Not really, only 1 game on Friday night will be on early in Australia 6pm NZ = 4pm Australia. Saturday 4,6 and 8pm
Means 2 , 4 and 6 in Australia same Sunday.
Not really an issue. Magic Round isn't about tv anyway, the same way Vagas isn't.
Magic Round pumped up rugby league in Brisbane , basically throwing a party to pump up the Dolphins.
It's not a coincidence.

More irrelevancies? really? You are so hard up for anything from NZ that remotely supports your point of view that you have to resort to this? Pathetic.
You got all that from someone sharing a cool video?
I can't believe in this day and age I could live rent free... in your head 💁‍♂️
So much space 😍
