Everything you’ve said on this thread is so obvious as to Almost not even need postingImagine how many kiwis weren't captured by the Warriors.. probably in the millions! And would jump on board to spite the Warriors ( Auckland crowd)
Rugby league would explode in NZ with another team to rival the Warriors!
If I was a Union fan, I'd be shiting myself at the prospect.
An All black saying union is boring isn’t like a nobody like you saying union is boringA sample of 1 who changed his tv channel on one night. Must be true then lol
He might matter to you lol. Using a sample of one person on one evening to back up an argument of an entire codes fanbase changing sport on mass is dumb, dumber than dumb in fact lol. But thats gobsmacked for you.An All black saying union is boring isn’t like a nobody like you saying union is boring
his opinion obviously matters to real human beings
Yeh I haven’t mentioned the crowds out of Auckland this year as proof there’s a market for nz2 lmaoHe might matter to you lol. If anything you'd be using the good crowds the NRL has got in Wellington and Christchuch as a stronger example of a sustainable fanbase for the sport in those cities. But as these are one off games, and you and gobsmacked hold no value in crowds for one off games, I guess you cant lol
Logical choice would be Christchurch/South Island based team.Imagine how many kiwis weren't captured by the Warriors.. probably in the millions! And would jump on board to spite the Warriors ( Auckland crowd)

Yeh a union fan will read his post and decide not to follow a second nz nrl sideLogical choice would be Christchurch/South Island based team.
support wise levels would obviously be dependent on results on the pitch.
why bring union fans into it? Let’s concentrate on the rugby league aspect of NZ2 and what it would bring to New Zealand and RL in New Zealand.
Im interested to know why you think the countries Union fans will jump codes for NZ2 when they've had warriors around for 25 years to jump codes to if that was their penchant?Yeh a union fan will read his post and decide not to follow a second nz nrl side
Or a Union fan will follow both.Yeh a union fan will read his post and decide not to follow a second nz nrl side
Bandwagon fans.Im interested to know why you think the countries Union fans will jump codes for NZ2 when they've had warriors around for 25 years to jump codes to if that was their penchant?
Its very likely NZ2 will be smaller version of Warriors. Sure some 'Rugby" (sic) fans in the city NZ2 are based will no doubt get behind them, but to think fans across the country will suddenly switch codes because of an NRl team in Christchurch seems ludicrous?
Nearly as dumb as thinking the Dolphins are going to make any difference what so ever to the Lions. Or the Storm to the Melbourne AFL clubs, or a new Perth NRL club to the Eagles. The world doesnt work like that.
For the millionth timeIm interested to know why you think the countries Union fans will jump codes for NZ2 when they've had warriors around for 25 years to jump codes to if that was their penchant?

Yeh the warriors have had amazing success in the nrl whilst the all blacks get to play nuffies at international levelBandwagon fans.
people like success and being part of it or to be seen to be part of it more like.
Maybe the people who will be doing the pants sh#ting will be the people that run the super rugby competition and not the fans. For the millionth time
kiwis aren’t your normal toff union w@nkers like England or Australia
it’s actually also a working class sport (elite also)
kiwi rugby has always been about running the ball, you know like rugby league
we now have the added bonus of super rugby going to the toilet
I don’t think the fans would care too much if super rugby disappeared and was replaced with two or three more nrl sidesMaybe the people who will be doing the pants sh#ting will be the people that run the super rugby competition and not the fans.
I think they would continue to follow their NPC teams and loosely follow any NZ based NRL sides.I don’t think the fans would care too much if super rugby disappeared and was replaced with two or three more nrl sides
Npc is a great name for itI think they would continue to follow their NPC teams and loosely follow any NZ based NRL sides.
Completely agree with these pointsPotential isnt worth much if not realised. Our game has always had potential, its a great game after all, but sadly it has failed time and again in its administration.
Maybe it will be different over the next 20 years, maybe not. Time will tell.
They're both Rugby dipshit.A sample of 1 who changed his tv channel on one night. Must be true then lol
Ive never said AFL fans will change on mass to RL, nor do I believe the majority of RU fans in NZ will change to RL because we put a team in Christchurch. Its foolish to believe such things. They're both Rugby dipshit.
AFL To Rugby league is chalk and cheese!
I have to ask, because I'm pretty sure I know the answer, would Perth Union fans go to a Perth Pirates NRL game?Ive never said AFL fans will change on mass to RL, nor do I believe the majority of RU fans in NZ will change to RL because we put a team in Christchurch. Its foolish to believe such things.
