NZer who had the misfortune to be born in (west) Australia. Then had the further misfortune of spending some of his life in Palmerston North.West Australian Kaylin Ponga I might add lol
Remind me not to watch this show. Thank feck it was all bull dustSo funnily enough if anyone bothered to watch the matty johns show last night, you'd have noticed that Laurie Daley had set up those dumb arguments up as a ball teaser to purposely make Gordie call out the BS laurie was spinning... both guys were in on it, it ended up being a shameful plug to advertise a show on channel 503, called "the great sports debate" (right up your alley, dane) tony squires is paneling a host of different aussie sports athletes each one representing thier own sport, apparently Gordon The Raging Bull, Tallis is the NRLs candidate,...
...Should be interesting too bad he cant deck eddie maguire, he'll have to use his brain words, not his fist knuckles...
Your debating a position of a man who lied on purpose, for advertising purposes... regardless if you think his position mirriors your own, he lied about it... attacking me doesn't hide that fact dane..Nah, you're just an oxygen thief who doesn't like it when you're world view is questioned, so, when it's convenient, you try to avoid having to address it by hiding behind crap humour.
You'll happily advocate for a position, debate that position, and pile on to others, but then pivot to the cry bullying "why are you attacking me, I was just trying to have fun" BS as soon as it starts going south for you.
Fmd doesnt stop! does it?Please talk about Western Australian

Yes i mentioned the wellington crowd a few weeks back, its a shame that only in hindsight that could have had doubled there, maybe next season their other town games will be more centred in the season, especially around stadiums that have a huge capacityAnother sell out in NZ tonight, Warriors averaging 22k+ in Auckland. Games outside of Auckland average 19k+ including the biggest club rugby crowd of the year for both codes last weekend in Hamilton, probably would have been more if Wellington wasn’t round 1. Very promising numbers.

Yes that Christchurch game was around after the terror attackIf they played it this week could have been looking at 30k+ but not to be. Warriors first game at Mt Smart was their lowest of the year there as well so they’ve built up some momentum.
It’d be good to see a few Sydney teams take a home game there next year, Tiger’s crowd in Hamilton will have opened a few eyes to the possibility hopefully. Manly have played in Christchurch before from memory, it’d be good to see them get a game again.
Tv ratings in nz would be through the roofAll of NZ gets in on the NRL when the Warriors are winning.
Why wouldn't we hedge out bets with a second team?
I think it's a no brainer, done deal.
If a Sydney team draws the 6pm Friday night (Sydney time) timeslot - especially against a lower-pulling team like (say) the Titans, I wouldn't be surprised if they look to move it to NZ. Especially once that new covered rectangular stadium opens in Christchurch. If they played it this week could have been looking at 30k+ but not to be.
