That’s the future

where’s that idiot who said kiwi rl juniors were struggling
They have been, you've been given repeated evidence that they have. The Warriors building facilities, and entering teams into Oz comps does not change the fact that grassroots league has been struggling in NZ with player numbers down in comparison with other school sports. What is idiotic is claiming that this link negates those basic facts.

But, hopefully the Warriors can repeat their good year and that at least the "That's the future" part of your post wont be bollocks.

Why do people on these threads think that a gym often tarted up as a high performance centre means anything football wise.

Because it's not just a gym... that's the whole point.. the gym is just 1 part, there's a range of sports science, performance monitoring equipment and recovery facilities Along with rooms and offices for revision ect.

Basically, your local gym .. you think " that was a solid work out"
This tells you exactly what that workout was. Another dedicated facility that will help more players reach peak performance.
The Warriors now has 5 tiers of teams dedicated to peak performance in the best Rugby league competitions on the planet with a population of 5 million to pick from in country of people made for the sport..
The Warriors are going to become an absolute powerhouse.

Dude, you only live in NZ. @Wb1234 has never been there, but he's an expert on every single location on the planet, so of course he knows better than you about juniors.

I've been in NZ almost 4 months travelling around and I don't think it makes f all difference as to how much information you have access to. Especially in regards to national junior numbers.
The reality is this: none of us have any recent data. The data we did have showed a steady decline but the drastic decline was during covid and we've had no numbers since.
What we do know: Everything post covid has returned stronger than pre covid. The Warriors have had an outstanding year the have seen it sweep the country up in Warriors fever and sell out in multiple locations.

Come February for sign ups.. there won't be just growth in junior numbers for Rugby league, it'll likely be the highest it's ever been.

Canterbury rugby league reported a healthy increase in ‘participation’ in 2023.

High performance centre isn’t a biggie

the fact they have five junior teams playing in Australian competitions is

those kids will grow up used to nrl intensity which the game in nz can’t provide.

nz2 will have the same pathways

nrl clubs are filing their junior pathways with these kids

so anyone saying kiwi rl juniors are a problem is an idiot or a troll

Is this a pisstake? Of course people who live there have a better idea than someone who just reads about it.
