That’s why I just deal with Perth red as the king troll and have the rest on ignore

these other guys just parrot what he says in a less intelligent way

At one stage Canard said the ARLC won't care about the amount of revenue a Perth-based team can generate from football operations because he believes the annual grant is enough to run a football team. It was established in the GEMBA Report on expansion that the smallest clubs ran on an operating budget of $24m at the time of publication. The annual grant is about $17m now, but was about 13m back then. Maths and facts aren't his strong point.

Shows why brisbane can support 3 clubs easily
thats not in question, the question is should the NRL spend another valuable and ltd license adding to an already serviced pond. Nearly any LC pokie den can in reality sustain an NRL club, doesnt mean every pokie club should get one.

You basically only need 15k crowd avg, 20k members and a reasonable sponsorship portfolio to be profitable in NRL these days.

The fact the dolphins can get 30k members in one year and crowds af Suncorp close to 30k show the market isn’t being serviced to its potential

the fact the broncos football club makes three times the tigers show how much room there is in Brisbane

And what impact would splitting the SEQ pie four ways have on the market and pre existing clubs.

The fact is every RL fan in Brisbane has two options to follow NRL now. Thats the definition of a serviced market lol

Pointless discussion, there'll be no Brisbane 3 for at least a decade, probably longer. All the time News Ltd own Broncos and control the game they arent letting another genuine Brisbane club in. That much is clear from the 'Queensland' Firehawks change in brand direction. Richo knows this, hence his bail out to the worse job in NRL lol

You said the same thing before the dolphins got
In that brisbane was already serviced and you were wrong then too

the Brisbane derby is now the biggest club rugby game on earth

add the tigers and we get more derbies

more sell outs and massive ratings
