Now in the perfect time to develop rugby league in NZ.

Rugby union's growth at the professional level in France and Japan is killing the game in Australia and New Zealand.

If we can keep our salary cap in line with the French and Japanese RU competitions then NZ2 provides young talent from New Zealand with a good reason to choose rugby league.

If Albo gets punted within the next few months then it's definitely a chance of getting the 18th licence.

Lie, I never said there wasnt a bid interest, I said they didnt have any backers as they themselves told us that!
Has it changed? They havent said anything yet, maybe this launch will shed more details on their proposed bid. Maybe a Bears link up?
