Great so you agree participation is up 👍

Over a dozen years ago they changed how participation was counted. So massive increase. There are now less than 20000 people in NZ playing League.... And you think that's good? You really don't care about League in NZ.

You are pinning your hopes on that?

Much like your other assumptions. Wishful thinking, baseless and without a single speck of merit.
Your entire premise was the fall in participation.. which going back 12 years is up massively even after a decade of poor Warriors performance and Covid 😳
Your entire premise is false and judging by the crowds has a massive exclamation ❗
You really don't have a leg the stand on.
You don't have the integrity or humility to admit you were wrong .
You clearly have narcissist personality disorder.

The irony in that post is impressive.

Did you even know that before the 90s League here had almost 60K participants? no, didn't think so. its not just the fall, its the trend. Something you are too stupid to figure out.

You think 3 crowds of under 20K indicates that widespread support, when player numbers have been declining. Crowds don't mean squat. TV viewership has been conspicuous in its absence, but apparently that doesn't mean anything to you.

You make up numbers like increases in SKYTV money without a single bit or evidence, you make claims of a 40% increase in viewers despite that NEVER having been the case with the warriors.
Your make claims about Super Rugby dying, despite increases in Viewer numbers.
You make claims about things you know nothing about. Your a 12 year old stamping your feet, when you can't admit your entire argument is baseless.

I think you're just too toxic to continue with.

Oh boo hoo for you.... You make up bullshit you get treated with the disdain you deserve. Come back with actual facts instead of baseless assertions based on fantasy and wishes and you may get treated better.
What happened to you? Honestly I hope you're ok.

It was a sell out mate. What makes you think the stadium could hold 19k on the day?

For one reason the capacity of the ground is 19.7K when the "sellout" was first reported it said 20K, that means there were about 20K tickets available, which fits with the capacity.
For the second, it was mentioned in the preamble on sky that three were still some tickets available to buy at the gate.
That enough?

Why is this so important for you?

This article says it was sold out, mentioning the reluctance to use temporary seating ( that might be the discrepancy in capacity)
Regardless, I couldn't see where they could have fit 1 more person. Looked like a great atmosphere.
16k is massive for a town that size.
Well done Napier.

You're a kiwi that says they like league... yet a good game for your fellow countryman and you seem pissed off ... makes no sense.
