great news for next season
Might be a case of be careful what you wish for, TMM and CHT had a couple of good games but also proved you probably couldn’t count on them for a full season, the fact a busted SJ was still the preferred option speaks volumes

Speaks volumes of what, though?

I think Webby has been pretty blinkered in some of his selections - this forces his hand to focus on a new era. it also gives encouragement to younger halves to stick with the club, knowing they aren't gonna be blocked by a club legend.

Agreed. Webby has resisted forcing changes or undercutting the confidence of the established playing group, perhaps to the detriment of the season so far.. could have been a worse season if injuries didn't force changes as bizarre as that is.
The 2 main underperformers AFB and Johnson are moving on... and once again Webby keeps the axe in the cupboard..
If the Warriors are going to be a force, Webby is going to need to learn a page from the Hasler " tough love" book.

When he didnt play rts at fullback from the start of the season I had a feeling the warriors would miss the finals
