Welcome to the forum mate. Unfortunately you're meant to be me lol, sorry about that.
I've been a huge advocate for a second NZ team for a long time and I spent some time over there travelling around most of the spectacular south Island for around 4 months with tentative plans to move there long term until the wages comparison bit me in the arse. I absolutely loved the place and it’s people! While I was over there, I was posting on here to express my surprise at how well received league was and the great chats I was able to have about League, which of course only made me more keen to see another team across the ditch.
Of course it was scrutinised heavily here and told it was only played in a few pockets around Auckland , and I was on a fake holiday and only Kiwis could possibly crasp the sporting landscape there so my 4 months of experiences counted for nothing ( along with piles of data lol)
So that was it and I continued advocating for a team there. But once I returned to Australia and bought a new phone and had to log back into my account, I had forgotten the password, so I opened a new account. I thought I might have some fun with it and see how long until someone noticed. A see how they react to things if it were a Kiwi . A couple of weeks in someone did and I congratulated them straight away.
Eventually I remembered my password and started posting back under this user name .
At every opportunity, it's used to discredit me , like daily lol ! and out of context lol.

Anyway, that's the gist of it.

I really hope you guys get a team! I think it would be an overwhelming success!

Hi there. Yea - long story - it is fundamentally still there - but was rebuilt/renamed since earthquake damage.

Haeata (Aranui) Community Campus, which opened at the start of Term 1 2017, will eventually cater for 1,800 pupils from Years 1 to 13, starting with around 900 students from four merged schools – Avondale, Aranui Primary, Aranui High, and Wainoni.
