Yeah, I would have liked to see Worker in this series, or v India.

But it just seems like the cupboard is pretty bare right now

Young played really well in the giggle game the other day. He, Seifert, Phillips, Worker, Brownlie as a start are all possibilities but too late now... Williamson is opening for the most part

One of the worst DRS appeals of all time there. Guptill missed it by a foot, nothing even remotely heard on snicko.

In fairness Guptill averages in the 40s. You don’t get that record purely beating up on the bums.
Not quite but to a large degree I think that's what he's done

He's good with the white ball no mistake but he murders plodders

When it rains it pours; he’s gone on these sorts of streaks against better attacks but always feasts on mediocrity.

At least Munro isn’t feasting.

I am now on board with Guptill/Nicholls opening, if only to keep Munro out.

Sharp work on the boundary to dismiss Guptill

Haven't managed to catch any today, how did Munro implode today?

Surely we can just leave him home, and literallly take anyone else to the WC?

Since the Mark Boucher bail incident that forced his retirement in 2012, there's only been a handful of wicketkeepers at international level that have kept up to the stumps without a helmet. Before seeing the Bangladesh keeper today, I think Luke Ronchi vs England in 2015 is the last one that comes to mind.

On a side note, congrats to Ross Taylor for becoming NZ's highest ODI runscorer. Average of over 48 from more than 200 ODIs is outstanding.

I actually tuned in too late to see him bat
