I’m not sold on Bracewell still, definitely showing he’s handy with the bat but we already know CDG, Neesh, Santner and co. have their good days.

His bowling worries me, it was Tim Southee light and that’s saying something.

I’m not convinced on CDG at all in ODIs. Batting form is poor, averages 50 with the ball.

I think he and Neesham are in a two way race for a spot
Neesham should be competing for 6 or 7 with Nicholls, Santner and CDG

Bracewell v Henry v Southee

Boult is a lock. Sodhi close and they love Ferguson

For me it's a question of Neesham or Santner at 7, Bracewell at 8, Boult at 11 and two others. Option to play two spinners is there, might see that in the next game

Pretty disappointed with Nz tbh. They are way off the pace in this series and there is a world cup looming large.

Expected them to be more competitive against a very good Indian side

Nah, they are just being exposed for where they truly are...top rung of the second tier.

Rubbish. As was Boults. Before that they were bowling to a field plan. Then they decided they would try seventeen versions of slower balls and sliders and bowled rubbish. At one point they moved fine leg squarer, so Boult came around the wicket and bowled a leg side half volley. Boults one over when he swung it was good. What happened after that I’m not sure.

How many are going on the ship to England? 15? The only way CDG goes is if he’s dapper on the smoking room piano.
Pretty sure it's 15. Neesham should surely be well ahead of him

WC will likely be huge scores on dead flat tracks, suits England and India to a tee. If conditions are like that I think we have to have Neesham or Santner at 7 and Bracewell at 8, ir perhaps both and Doug at 9. Think this will likely be a test of who can go hard for all 50 overs and have some luck. Who'd be a bowler ATM

Absolutely woeful from Munro. The stat they had up was over the past 3 series the highest opening stand was 34. Majority were single figures. Biggest issue is Munro, too keen to go on the bash. If at first you fail, and then repeatedly fail, either you as a cricketer need to change or the selectors need to make a change.

Baz had a defensive game in him, and the attack was an extension of proper batting technique like most non-T20 bashers.

Munro is a shocker, who has no foundation to his ability, but you feel like they’re saving him for the concrete decks in England where he *may* come off.

I highly doubt it though, what a hack.

God. Do these and openers know how to use their back foot to push into the right line? Poor shot Guptill. Take out one innings against the Eketahuna 3rds aka Sri Lanka he has been awful as well.

Literally anyone would be better than Munro ATM. His first class record is not real, but I think that level helped him build innings. Now he's a white ball specialist hes a total joke

Gup is struggling too but obviously worth keeping until the WC
