The coal industry definitely plummeted there for a while but I hear it's back on the increase. Bad news for the environment, good news for the Knights.

I have to stop saying "surely it can't get any worse" because it always does, in even weirder ways

I hope the NRL end this and back us to sue the arse of this arrogant jerk. What a low life. Might explain Darius demeanour on field. He does not deserve that. That is just terrible what he and Mullo have copped.

^ I don't think Mullo actually copped anything. I think the article is saying that Tinkler was texting him saying shit about the other players.

I'd say we're a basket case, but that is an insult to ordinary basket cases like the Sharks.

Two things, surely a NRL license has a morality clause in the agreement, in which case he is done.

Second, I think it's fair to say the players or some officials think his reign is over and are now comfortable with releasing this type of detail.

Whether Mullen was a target or was regularly asked to play devil's advocate is beside the point. It is abuse and intimidation when you bag other teammates and put him in that position. If Wayne goes I expect there will be fair line of coaches wanting in though. Basket case or not guys like Tim Sheens and Neil Henry will be keen for another crack at the big time.

No.

I can't stand bad coaches being recycled. We've seen it enough to realise bad coaches never turn good.

Matt Elliot and Ricky Stuart are prime examples.

I find it funny if Tinks texted that stuff to Boyd

Neil Henry is a bad coach? He coached a team full of superstars who didn't have any heart and refused to cop responsibility for the fact they had been the biggest underachievers for the last couple of years.

I'd take Henry over Sheens without a doubt. Don't know if he'd be much better than Stone though.

If this is true...at least he's a good judge.

It sounds like he may be coach material. I mean lets be serious, would you rather a suck up yes man like Michael Hagen, or would you rather a ruthless dictator who holds every player to account?

Tinkler to coach Newcastle in 2015. You heard it here first.
