Hmmmm... If it came down to it. Screw O'meley go for Kite. In the halves would love to see Hornby but Michael Monaghan isnt too have either.

Just updating the players interested list

Players the club is apparently interested in

Jason Ryles
Brent Tate
Joel Clinton
Paul Whatuira
Luke O'Donnell
Danny Wicks
Amos Roberts
Brent Kite
Bronson Harrison
Richie Williams
Chris Houston

Source - Big League Magazine.

Danny Wicks, Paul Whatuira, Amos Roberts, Brent Kite

I'd be happy with that, Danny Wicks is an awsome young prop, probably not what we need at this time though.

It doesnt really say we are after him, that's why I didnt include it.

All it says is there a rumours going around that we are gonna get him this year, also mentions that the Dogs havnt contacted us about it or anything.

I think theres a reason he's in Premier League, ousted by a rookie. It would be just like us to buy a washed up out of form once good player. Im not that excited about it.

Yeah, it's called 'Steve Folkes is a f**king idiot'. You ask any Dogs fan, and they'll tell you that Sherwin is killing it in PL, and they would all have him in FG over Roberts, who has been sh*te.

The players that are highlighted in bold are the ones whos contract I would NOT renew and the ones the Knights are after are the ones I wouldn't sign up. I'll start a thread on this soon, about how some members in the Knights administration don't learn from their mistakes (in regards to recruiting hasbeen players and signing up all these injured foes).

Roberts and Kite would make me very happy. Offer them $350 - Kite and $280 - Roberts.

If our management pays $280k for Roberts someone shoud be shot. He has done sweet f*ck all in the past 2 years.

I say we should go for Monaghan (although I think he'll end up at Souths or the Roosters) and one of Kite and Clinton. Any remaing money spent on retention.

Kite would be massive. He is just what we need in attack and defence. Woolnough or Perry would be fine off the bench I think.
Maybe a centre as well. Although everyone in here is a bit tough on Brad Tighe. He has got potential that boy I reckon

Clinton is 18th man for the Panthers this week. he must be feeling a tad unloved.... might be the time to make some discreet inquiries.

from what I saw of Perry on monday, we should be looking to keep him for a fair price.

Remember, Perry has a habit of pulling his thumb out of his arse when his contract is up for renewal, then sticking it right back up there when he's wrapped up for another 2 or 3 years.
