Well guys, I've got some good news and some bad news.

The bad news is that we only had 4 players to the Dragons 5 and they outscored us.

The good news is that two of the Dragons posts have been disqualified for plaigarism meaning that we've actually ended up winning.

Thanks to everyone for putting in and keeping our unbeaten record in tact - even if it was achieved in somewhat controversial circumstances.

I wouldn't be suprised if we haven't heard the last of it.

I sent out a number of emails trying to get some reserves on board but it was too late to expect people to drop their evening plans.

I only did this after I saw the last 2 posts going up from our opponents. So my apologies to those fine folk who may have tried to answer the call.

Well played Bluebags... we got the points in the end.

But in the words of the great Frank Hyde... "this was wake up call... the boys needed a shake!"

Next time, we'll make sure we have all our reserves at the ready.

I think the problem we had was that the team wasn't named until just a few days before the deadline.

I suggest we name the team for the next round as soon as possible after the fulltime bell.

Make Moffo (c) and Hass (vc) as default players in every team with a 3 others plus at least 2 reserves.
That way we have plenty of time to change things if need be.

eg for round 7:
Moffo (c)
Hass (vc)
Gorilla
Roopy
Willow

Reserves:
Legend
GBT

Nothing new there but it has been announced with plenty of time to spare.

What do you reckon?

P.S. GavBT has informed me by email that he a post ready when needed.

Gallant in defeat, we have been nudged out by Souths. This brings an end to our 10 match 'undefeated' streak which began in the trials and pre-season.

Sporting an excellent pack of youngsters which included the likes of Sattler, O'Niell and Piggins, the Rabbitohs matched us yard for yard.

We battled in fine style and looked a chance, but the kicking skills of Eric 'Bunny Boy' Simms was difference on the day... and unbelievably, the Bluebags walked from the field, a beaten team.

Well played everyone. I'll be in the Henson Park bar drowning my sorrows...

You bunch of oldies better get your act together. I don't know if you'se have been keeping up on current events, but if you'se haven't - let me fill you'se in.

The mighty Parra-Dogs are THE team on the rise in this game. Come October we intend to be drinking long and hard in celebration of a glorious last to first Premiership run and heavy representation in the rep season..

And we want to do it the hard way. We want to prove everyone wrong and ourselves right. We want to beat the best at their best....... and they say you'se ARE the best.

Well, actually - they used to say that... now everyone reckons The Roosters are the best. They say you lot are past your best, starting to go all old, soft and flacid. And hey! Don't get p.ssed off with me about it - I'm just the messenger. I didn't say that, I'd NEVER say that - but that's what everyone else is saying... or so I hear anyway.

As much as I enjoyed skippering the side to victory, I think it's time to bring the Moff back into the chair.

Next match will decide the Minor Premiership !!!!
