Royce doesn't need the run, BHU does.
He played big minutes the other night but still looks a fair way off to me.
I wouldn't be risking BHU now that he's gotten over the hump with his fitness. Let him build up in first grade and training.

Rudolf I'd send back because with Talakai back he's not in the 17.

Agree on Toby, but I still think BHU needs to keep his minutes up.
I know it's only a week, but he seems to be the ind of guy who improves when he plays week to week.
I don't think he's at the point of being ready to start just yet, which is where we need him, so I'd like to keep building towards that.

I’d be playing both BHU and Rudolph a weeks rest isn’t what they need right now.
Rest them 1 at a time if a month or so if needed.

Fairly uninspiring numbers for BHU again:

48 minutes
10 hitups
83 metres
14 post-contact
20 tackles
6 misses

Not the kind of effort I'm looking for.

Tuku, in contrast:

59 minutes
15 hitups
157 metres
67 post-contact
27 tackles
3 misses (2 ineffective)

Obviously stats don't tell the whole story, but BHU still seems to be a ways off being ready to provide the impact we're missing.
Hell, Brad Fearnley had better numbers.

That's an apples and oranges comparison for mine. Tusk would struggle to get 25 minutes out in the NRL if he was working that hard.

The Stats I'd like to see but which are shrouded in secrecy are the GPS stats.

This little video is interesting. I'd love to know more

Very interesting. And kind of what I was alluding to with “stats don’t tell the whole story”.

At any rate, I’m happy he was given a run.

Tickets still available for Saturday- big day in the sun, beer and jets.
Plenty of different vendors for beer and food.
Then back up and watch the sharks v Chad at an inner west pub.
What more could you want?
