Alex Smith had a fantastic year, but there were a lot of easy 5 yard throws on 1st and 2nd down to give them managable 3rd downs but Smith kept putting them on the bootlaces of recievers. And leaving them at 3rd and 8 or higher

Gutted.

I think the Niners were the better team, but the rookie (Kyle Williams) didn't handle the pressure and practically handed over 10 pts to the Giants.
Add the ineptitude of our attack to that (Vernon Davis can't do everything), and there's the receipt for a gut wrenching loss.

Still a mighty season to be proud of. Harbaugh definitely turned this team around, and hopefully next season's draft will be kind to us with a couple of good attacking weapons.

Good luck to the teams in the SB, hope and really think the rings will head to the Big Apple though.
