I would start at 2 firsts with my fingers crossed and then work my way down from there.

It’s interesting... I listen to a Bay Area radio stations podcast who covers the 49ers and Raiders and they did a poll asking 49ers fans would they give up a first for him.

It was something like 70% saying no...

And the consensus from the guys doing the show is that an early 2nd would be enough for the 49ers...

I’m like... f**k that.. :joy::joy: if the 49ers offer there 2nd we should offer the 1st we get from the Cowboys for Coop.... :joy::joy:

Surely you guys will get a 1st...

People place too much value in draft picks. Nobody wants to miss out on getting their next HOFer but really it's probably a 50/50 proposition he makes it to above average.

The Cards are so far from competing it's not funny. Trading a slew of draft picks for a 30 year old diva wr won't help. Especially when you've got a young qb running for his life behind the worst o-line in the league

I think TBH it depends on the organisation...

I had no confidence that Reggie McKenzie and Jon Gruden were going to be able to draft a WR...

The Steelers however... you guys seem to be able to find a good WR every bloody draft...

If you ask most 9ers fans what they want in the draft they'll immediately say "just give me a f**king edge rusher".

With the Cards needing interior rushing and offensive help way more than edge I think a lot of 9ers are still hoping Bosa lands at #2.

If we were picking in the 20's I don't think the poll would be that lopsided.

It's not just the talent, those cheap contracts are absolutely vital to building a team, especially if it's skill positions playing at a high level.

The best players don't often make it to free agency so a lot of middle of the road guys get way overpaid as a result. Just can't build a team that way and draft picks are like a lotto ticket - sure you're not likely to win but if you have more tickets than the next guy your odds are better.

Yeah, I forgot you guys are picking so high, changes the thinking.

He's hanging out with Ochocinco now, doing all the right things, he'll go dancing with Terrell Owens next week is my bet.

Haha, f**k me dead.
Im not a HUGE Goff guy, in fact i think he's actually a bit shit. My hottest NFL take right now is with anyone but a select handful of stud OC's Goff would be dreadful
But i also think that'd be true for most QBs... there is like 5-7 system proof Qb's who i think would be studs regardless of where they are... the rest is a coach/qb marriage. And Goff and McVey are going to do just fine, they've both got a little of growth and improvement to make, but there is ZERO chance the Rams would trade Goff and ZERO reason for them to do that.

What a f**king garbage take haha

What a weird signing... that's an every down back and they've got Duke Johnson and Chubb which is an excellent 1-2 punch

Assuming Hunt is suspended for 6 weeks, what happens to Chubb? Or is this purely just paying him to trade him before the deadline

I think the Patriots have showed you can't have enough depth at RB. Especially if everybody gets a role.

I was thinking a 1st/early 2nd for Brown but they might be lucky to get a 2nd at all with his shit off the field, and he can't blame the Steelers for that.

Only takes one team though as we saw with Martavis.

It seems wild to me that the Steelers are going to be willing to carry a 21m deadcap hit to NOT have Antonio Brown on their roster... but i dont know how you come back from this

Yup... that’s the thing that makes me scratch my head....

I get that they get cap credit because of Lev Bell.. but i never see well run franchises like Steelers take on dead cap hits like that.

TBH... as a Raiders fan I’d give up one of our later 1st’s or our 2nd rounder for him.

We have the cap space... but those cheap assholes wouldn’t pay Khalil Mack so who knows if they’d pay Brown.
