49ers signed former Saints C Jonathan Goodwin to a 3 year deal

excellent pass protector, not as good at run blocking though. Sort of happy for the Saints to go with Matt Tennant, apparently an excellent run blocker and decent pass protector. Good thing for him is that through camp he has to contain a pretty damn good DT rotation. And when we have the 2 beasts at guards and an upgrade at C for run blocking we could be back to our 09 running game and better

That's really funny because this is what the 49ers report said:

C Jonathan Goodwin, the newest 49er, is actually a two-time Pro
Bowler. He wasn’t selected to the 2010 team, but got in as an
alternate. The Scouts Inc. report on him is that he’s a great run
blocker who plays with good leverage and has an aggressive
temperament, but that he’s not the rangiest pass blocker. 49ers

Seven teams are over cap and will have to be under by Friday: STL $100K: ATL $1 MIL: DAL $3 M; DET $8 M; HST $8.5 M; PIT $11M; OAK $12M.

f**king LOL at Oakload being the most OVER the cap despite letting go of Miller, Nnamdi etc.

KC are looking great this year and Oakland are a joke (as usual).

They can start by flicking Jarvis Moss for starters. Will they have anyone left by the time the season starts?

Heath Miller, Chris Kemoeatu, James Harrison and Brett Keisel have all restructured or are going to.
Polamalu will probably extend his contract in the next few weeks with a downgrade for this year to help out.

Banner is a cap god... Even eagles fans who think he's a dope and hate AR know that at the very least, those two can manage a cap like no other in the league

Did the eagles actually have a team last year, or are they starting completely from scratch?!?
