49ers were woeful today, as we all know Alex Smith ain't good enough to lead this team from behind against elite competition.

Dominated on both sides of the ball, well done to the Giants

.

what a depressing loss for the rams. they were all over the phins but stupid penalties always screwed them in the red zone.

jenkins falls asleep to allow some no name to run wide open for a td which should have been a sack if he was awake. some bozo fields the kickoff when he should have let it go then fumbles the ball away. the kicker misses a 37 yarder. that's 13 points right there that should have been in the rams favour.

young and stupid. they will learn to win these games moving forwad.

Packers get a TD thanks to a bogus PI call that piggy backed them down the field

We're back! On the road against an undefeated opposition? Injuries piling up? Never fear, A-Rod is here.

SIX bombs. 3 of them to Jordy.

We're beginning to click.

Alameda Ta'amu, 22, of Kent, Wash., was driving a sport utility vehicle the wrong way on Pittsburgh's South Side at about 2:30 a.m., police said. The 6-foot-3, 348-pound Ta'amu fled officers and crashed into four parked cars, injuring a woman, then tried to flee on foot before he was restrained by four officers and arrested, police said.

This Steelers rookie class gets better and better, it looked promising on draft day. I'm thinking he will be cut.

And Alex Smith. Lol. They had a chance at getting Peyton. Didn't want him because they didn't want to do his style offense. Bet they'd beg to have him now.

I think you will find that Peyton turned them down..... then they came out with the excuses to why they "werent interested in him" to let people know Alex was still their guy.

They backflipped into a backflip.

Exactly

Harbaugh knows QBs, there's a reason why he flirted with Peyton.

Peyton just didn't want the massive expectation

Yep, too much pressure on Manning to win rings in San Fran. With him under centre, with that OL, with that run game, Randy Moss, Crabtree, Davis and playing on the back of that D... anything less than a ring would have been a failure

as good as the niners are, im not sure they'll ever win a SB with Alex Smith at QB.

If Manning cared about his legacy he would have went to San Francisco. It's sad that he didn't because if any team had a shot for 19-0, it's the 49ers with Manning.

Manning turned them down because Harbaugh insisted on their status quo offense. Mannings likes his no huddle. It works. The Broncos agreed to let him do his thing his way, the 49ers did not.

Would have been better for both Manning and the 49ers if they just agreed but they didn't and he is one of the greatest QBs ever. He wasn't about to listen to some kid-coach tell him how to do his job.
