if you need me to blow up some korean kids im more than happy to send you some dynamite.... little buggers cant be that tough to dispose of
The kids are the part of my job that I love. There's a few trouble-makers, of course - but that's more than made up for. Today, for example, I was given a wrapped gift by one child (who I didn't even teach today) and I had another student write a story about how nice I am.
It's just that the place is poorly run and the boss is cheap. We have 300 students (which is huge for a private school) and only two foreign teachers - which means we're teaching ten to eleven classes of 6-13 a day, without breaks, and we're writing reports and sitting exams for 150 kids each every two months.
The cause for today's outburst was my boss deciding that, since we have paid vacation next week, we'd work extra hours this week (without breaks) *and* we'd have until Friday to submit progress reports we can't start until Wednesday. Thankfully, after both of us threatened to disappear over the break, he pulled his head in and gave us an extension 'until we're done'.
