I bet our art theroy teacher will want us to see it. Last yr he made us watch Coloumbine (SP?)
I'm really not interested it and I agree with what termy said. I don't have a problem if other people want to see it though.

Your art teacher is a Socialist probably who has got no right to enforce his/her political views on schoolkids, and should be dealt with.

Oh right, but what if you had left, you would have copped all the hostility from the brainwashed PC brigade probably.
Mr. Angry that just religous bigatory, and would you say the same thing about a school in Australia that preaches Islamic beliefs, somehow I doupt it.

After watching BfC and reading his books I tend to take much of what he says with a grain of salt.

Moore doesn't pretend that this movie is fair or balanced, he freely admits that he wants to get rid of Bush and this is his vehicle for doing that.

It is a movie pure and simple and is designed to discredit bush in the most dramatic ways possible.

However, if you want to see it compared to the actual facts then go to
http://www.davekopel.com/Terror/Fiftysix-Deceits-in-Fahrenheit-911.htm this guy has done a lot of research, he backs up all his comments with facts and links and even allows Moore to respond.

It is fair more balanced than F 9/11 but then again, why let true get in the way of a good story.

Yes I would, I hate all religion equally.
Of course an Islamic school would be bias.

F9/11 is a great documentary

Its not a documentry.

A documentry is where there is no bias and both sides of a story are told.

There are a fair few mistakes in moores film.

moore is a master at cutting and pasting. He chops and changes things around to suit his argument.

Dont believe every thing in his films. They are very deceptive.

Oh please...

You might like to take a look at what Moore has said and see anywhere where he has referred to his films as a "documentary". He has never called any of his films as documentaries - they are quite clearly "Opinion Pieces". They aren't balanced. They dont give Bush a chance to reply to his claims. It is a movie where Moore shows his opinion and facts to back them up. Simple as that.

I dont see how watching Moore's film and saying Bush is dodgy is any better than watching CNN or Fox News and believing what they tell you. Face it - we never get a fair, balanced point of view - we get an agenda in one way or another with everything we read and watch.

The facts of the film are all real - even if there are websites that pick the shit out of little things throughout the film. The majority of the film is taken from his book "Dude, Where Is My Country?" which has references to the facts listen on every page.

I love how people read a few websites and instantly follow that opinion because it is cool to say "Michael Moore is a liar". By all means see the movie - but take a look around and get a balanced point of view.

Have a look at the website and it shows that Moore is cutting and pasting for dramatic effect.

Hey, thats his perogative and he freely admits that hes aiming at discrediting Bush, hes entitled to do that.

Alex, perhaps you can tell us what Facts are true, and what he has manipulated to create dramatic effect, because you post don't seem to make a whole lot of sense.

Nuffy - have you actually read that website? The big lies that they come up with is stuff like "Michael Moore claims he grew up in Flint - he in fact grew up in a suburb of Flint". They are minor and quite a few times they actually say that "what Moore says is true, but..." - how is that a lie if they acknowledge that it is correct?

Have you seen the film for yourself? Or are you just taking one websites point of view?
I'm not saying I am a Moore supporter. I know he manipulates footage to suit his own arguement - I've seen Columbine and while I agreed with what he was saying, the way he did it was pretty ordinary. He is more factual in this film and lets the vision tell the story more often than not.

I have an open mind to take it all in and make up my own mind on what I think is right. Do you?
