Night of the Living Dead is nothing but old, overrated crap. I thought "28 Days Later" was crap too.

On the other hand, the remake of "Dawn Of The Dead" is one of the best horror movies I've ever seen.

Yeah, I liked it. The ending was really powerful, completely blew me away. It reminded me of Harold Pinter's 'The Homecoming' actually. It's a play, but both had issues of sexual devaluation etc. etc.

Finally saw 'The Butterfly Effect' this weekend as well. I've got to admit that I really enjoyed it. One of the most depressing ends to a movie I've seen in ages. Hollywood needs more unexpected endings. I hate seeing sugar sweet finishes to everything.

Have any of youse seen "American Movie:The making of Northwestern"? It's a documentary about a wannabe director from Wisconsin. I just thought of it when I saw this thread, even though I wouldn't say it blew me away. It's pretty entertaining.

Anybody seen it?

Yep.

It's a good advertisment not to do Drugs I guess, and it shows how it affects people.

Just saw 'Donnie Darko', must say I'm both impressed and disappointed at the same time. The hype is definitely deserved, but I guess I was expecting something else. Still, it's stylistically beautiful and quite a haunting tale. Really enjoyed it.
