Penguins dropped to the Senators 1-3, Crosby though scored his 30th goal of the season and extends his point-scoring streak to 24 games and going.

Today Red Wings are visiting the Avalanche. Pens will play tomorrow vs the Thrasher

Today Penguins are at home vs the Thrashers while the Wings have the day off.

Red Wings will visit the Stars tomorrow looking to beat them for the first time this season (they better!) while the Pens will travel to face the Islanders and this will be the last game of this week for the Pens until New Years day

Penguins meanwhile lose out 1-2 in the shootout against the New York Islanders and Sid's streak ended on 25 games.

When it hits 5am in a few hours Fox Sports will be showing the first three Episodes of HBO's 24/7 Penguins/Capitals: Road to the Winter Classic. Followed up at 12pm with the LIVE coverage from Heinz Field, Pittsburgh PA, for the Winter Classic game between the Penguins and Capitals.
