Nick Politis. Sensational.
Yes because all 34,000 Swans fans that watched them this year are from the Eastern Suburbs and Easts are the only Sydney club competing with them. Maybe we should sell our souls, run away and move to Homebush. We regularly get 83,000 there.Nick Politis presides over the only club from any major sport in Australia (ever) where they operate in a codes heartland city but are getting beaten handily by a team from a rival code operating out of the same precinct.
Perth can'tAny numpty can sign players.
They Should rename Bondi to Athens to honour the Golden Greek.....
I'm staggered that nobody but Politis realised Fittler, Morely, Sonny-Bill, Tedesco, Cronk, and Keary were really good players...
How does he manage that shit - eye for talent is understating it
Every player on your list were well known to be good, if not the best players available in their position at the time. He doesn't have an eye for talent that nobody else has. He just knows how to buy already great players.
Fittler - Played both Origin and tests well before joining the Roosters
Morley - Played numerous tests for Great Britain before the Roosters
Sonny-Bill - Played tests for New Zealand in League as well as All Blacks before signing with the Roosters and was arguably the most sought after signature around at the time.
Tedesco - Played Origin for NSW
Cronk - Number one half back in the game
Keary - Premiership winner.
Apparentley he has been known to work wonders in the kitchen I hear that his Mousaka recipe is to die for...The Eastern Suburbs Leagues Club bistro is one of the unknown culinary delights of Sydney. This shows the entrepreneurial skill of Uncle Nick, and proves that he is not just a connoisseur of rugby league talent.
Can the mods kick this offseason troll fest to the cave???
Go to hell you bigot. Nick Politis is the most powerful club chairman in the NRL today, and deserves his own thread.
