WTF? Why bother calling themselves Fox League if they won't show all forms of league? Was good to record the footy and watch it before the NRL started off.

Honestly.

A poster on FB said their Foxtel planner suggests it's not true? If it IS it's a c*ck act by Fox League.. :rage:

Maybe in future you should attempt to verify information before posting blatant untruths to the forum?

Super League appears in the Foxtel venues guide and the three Round 1 matches being broadcast on Sky Sports in the UK appear in Foxtel's TV guide as well.

This isn't difficult information to find either.

It's in my Foxtel planner.

Who from Fox confirmed it to you?

I know a lot of people at Fox Sports (and have done work with/for some of them). I'd be more than happy to verify your claim with people who are in the know.

Wikipedia is hardly a reliable source.

I would be interested to know how PR has had this confirmed.

Seems there is very mixed messages from Fox! I messaged them via Facebook to see if they are showing Rd1 as last few years they haven't started coverage to around Rd 4, I got a PM back from them saying they had not bought the rights to Superleague this year. Yet it is showing on their planner! Clearly someone on Foxtel facebook has no idea what they have rights to, or the planner is wrong!

Maybe you should ask me how I got this information before calling me a liar! It came direct from FOXTEL

How you got the information is irrelevant, I have provided you with two links - both from Foxtel's website - that prove your information, however it was obtained, is not correct.

Fox League will be broadcasting Super League in 2019. End of story.

Either way, I hope it is on. There is no point in having a league channel if we are just going to watch NRL, then replays of NRL matches. It'll be just like Fox Footy.

Hopefully the Toronto broadcast deal lands their games on Fox League too.

Nothing in the EPG on the Toronto game for Round 1 yet, but it was only announced a few days ago and I don't even think the Canadian arm of the deal is allocated yet either.

Fingers crossed!

Can someone call up Uncle Rupert and get to the bottom of this
Get to the bottom of what? PR's information is false, Super League is being broadcast on Fox League in Australia. There's nothing to get to the bottom of unless you care enough what some customer service pleb at Foxtel got wrong.
