I didn't realised they'd landed a half decent stadium there either... I think three sides are removable stands (?) but design looks like wouldn't be too much of drama to build as permanent stands, if a PNG team eventually escalates from Qld Cup to NRL standard.

Would be a shitter of an away trip for southern teams.

Apparently was offered a part time role for 6 months. But wanted a fulltime role as he was helping with Juniors and Pathways.

I hope the NSWRL are not forgetting pathways....

Judging by the Wallabies' recent performances I reckon they'd be ok with him leaving.

Ricky stuart will get the gig imo. The Ricky mafia at the telegraph and Fox will push for it.

NSWRL will change the rule that a club coach can origin.

Then the question will be with Ricky's reputation where most NRL fans can't really cop him anymore. Will NSW fans really get behind the team. With a polarising figure like Ricky in charge.

Unlike in 2011-2012 where Ricky was unemployed got the job after being sacked by Cronulla but the hostility towards him wasn't as bad as NSW coach as it would be now imo.
