The EU will be stuffed too. Used to rely on Germany and probably France and the UK.

If greek goes and screws up again and doesn't meet their targets, there is less one powerful EU member to help them out.

Then there is other countries on the brink as well. So the EU will depend more and more on Germany.

Eventually, germany will say, screw you guys, we'll be better off by ourselves and leave too.

Remember that soothsayer that said Europe will collapse... well....

Ok I'm with Gronk here totally ignorant to this...

What other implications will this cause?

So far already, the GBP has hit a 31 year low. Stock Markets all over the place have fallen, and will continue to fall over the next day or so as the news spreads around. When the US markets open it's going to be nuts for a little while.

Other European countries are also now talking about leaving, so international trade will be buggered for a while.

The Sinn Fein in Ireland are calling for Northern Ireland to unify with The rest of Ireland and leave the UK.

Scotland are also being tipped to vote again to leave the UK, and join the EU. Which has bigger issues, as the UK's nuclear weapon stocks are housed in Scotland, which will be interesting. Although I don't think that will be an issue.

On the plus side, the price of Gold is going to sky rocket.

For us though, we may (and have) see a small down turn in our Markets, the ASX dropped 3% today, which was conservative compared to other regions, many dropping over 7% since the decision, But I don't think we'll cop anything else too major, It's a long time until they actually exit, and unless you do a lot of business in the UK, things shouldn't really change.

There's also calls for the UK PM to step down now, as he was heavily in favour of staying, so his opposition are now calling for his head, which was expected.

So it seems that the UK leaving the EU may be bad for the rest of Europe and the EU. Other than an immediate and probably temporary drop in the pound, is it actually bad for England/the UK?

Scotland will have another referendum and leave the UK as they want to stay with the EU. Current refugees usually pick between the UK and Germany. Germany will soon be sick of taking them all in. If they leave the EU will collapse. It will have massive ramifications on financial markets. The Euro will be no more and we will go like Marty McFly back to pre EU Europe with borders and domestic currencies. The Muslim minority will rebel. The Turks, Albania and those Kosovars which illegally took Serbian land will stand by their Muslim brothers. Russia will eventually be asked to save Christian Europe and there will be political unrest and possibly war. That's about it.

I was just rereading this and that soothsayer said that it is the beginning of the collapse of Europe as we know it today.

Eventually, Europe will become mainly muslim and controlled my muslims.

Can anyone answer this? I'm genuinely interested and have no idea myself.
