In a country where gun lobby groups seem to have more power than the President, this is absolutely genius!! If the 5th Amendment is going to be thrown around willy nilly then put the onus on gun manufacturers to change what they do.

Trump said that the first thing he would do is appoint a special prosecutor to go after Hillary re: the emails.

Tony Abbott did the same thing with his Royal Commission going after Rudd & Gillard.

From the bits I saw, it looked like Trump had the most gotcha moments because he was happy to interrupt, talk over the moderators and spew out negatives.

What will hurt him is the fact checking that occurs after the debate. Clinton seemed to ensure that she was "presidential" and measured and was happy for him to be a goon if he wanted to. Seemed to be a tactic.

Do the yanks want a calm POTUS or a loose cannon street fighter ? Dunno, depends on how much they want change.
