ie they f**ked up and made a mess of it all, and now they are considering throwing their toys out of the cot

I really really hope that is what they do.

It will be funny as f**k, and underscore what a complete clusterf**k this has been by Scomo and his mates.

If this is true, it's f**king disgraceful. Would they have done this to anyone else? What if it was Federer or Nadal?
So a Federal Court verdict isn't enough?

I will never vote Liberal again, if this is true, ever.

Yes they would have mate, f**k this is dumb shit, but how 'bout them little Tamil kiddies born here but locked up in detention for most of their lives, all in the name of not being seen to be weak on policy.

I mean who's situation would you rather be in, millionaire tennis player, or five year old kiddie who can't reside in her country of birth.

I don't think that's quite true, as the judge seemed to think he'd done everything required of him. And when they reneged on the agreement to give him more time they shot themselves in the foot. But there's probably a reason they went early, as giving him more time could have made his case stronger.

Nah.

It's because the people telling them how it is are f**king morons. This has Scotty's grubby mitts all over it, it's too high profile not to.

Just talked to a close mate. He is a big time commercial lawyer. Very experienced and educated.
Said the issue was that border force did not give the opportunity to delay the decision untill 8.30am. It had nothing to do with his vaccination status.
The court determined that he should have had the opportunity to talk to tennis Australia, lawyers etc. AND he was not given that opportunity.
So the courts decision DID NOT hinge on wether he had the medicine or not.
The courts decision was never going to hinge on the medical aspects but whether on the balance of information requested/provided was reason enough to cancel his visa. The trial was passing the buck, hoping the judge would do what they could have in the first place and just said the visa is fine but we’re not letting you in anyway. Although this way showed how f**ked up their visa questionnaires are.

I don't doubt it's being driven from there, just not sure that's 100% why they reneged on the deal.

"cause there was no deal, it's just a f**k up. These things happen.

But when it hit the news with Novax doing a bit of gloating, they figured there was points in it and played their hand.

And turned their f**k up into a clusterf**k. You just have to accept that everything Scotty does is about the optics of it, and he just isn't as good at that shit as he thinks he is, then it all makes perfect sense.

So, because you don’t like the PM ,it’s Ok for a high profile anti vaxxer to do what he likes and get away with it because he’s famous.

While the anti brigade will carry on, the majority no doubt want the protocols enforced. The politics on play are missing the point, the Vic Govt initially said no jab , no entry and now they play politics. It’s a friggin mess , and it’s just another case like the National Cabinet, agree there and go back to the State and do what you like. The whole State Govt running health policies underline the whole problem, the Labour states and the idiot Albo and Chalmers taking a view that doesn’t sit with their real position. Politics suck and so does Novak.

I was watching the case and the judge was saying there was an agreement. It was in the early hours of the morning, about 4am on to the 7:29 they reneged and 7:42 they notified Novak his visa had been revoked, so no talking to the press from Novak.
The agreement was that he'd have until 8:30 or so when people were awake so he could contact Tennis Australia and his lawyers and others who could help him answer why his visa shouldn't be cancelled.

Yeah, sorry, by agreement I thought you were referring to before the fact, not once it had already become a shit show.

I think the only Djoker in all this was the clown of a PM, who thought he'd get his Border Force to score some cheap popularity points for him.... but Scomo's vanity project has all backfired, and now taxpayers will have to foot the cost .

How anyone could ever vote for Smuggo "I don't hold a hose mate" Morrision or his party again after all the f**k-ups of the past three years, I simply do not understand.

So an unbiased Federal Court make a judgement and we should just ignore it and follow political agendas. Is that what you are saying?

Not sure if you're offering that as a reason (for sticking with Scummo) or as your voting intention... but surely, surely even rusted on LNP voters have been embarassed by the absolute shambles of the past 3 years?

Either way, hopefully people aren't gullible to be fooled again by the tsumani of spin that #scottyfrommarketing will have ready to roll between Feb and May...

Lol, "but Labor..." Border Force is a commonwealth responsbilitiy - they didn't do their job with the female pplayer allowed to pass and enter the country before Novak - who was only pulled up when Scummo thought he could make some mileage from it and poked his Border Force to act.

But what Morrison says at press conferences, and what he and his mates actually put in the laws are two different things... as the court has now found. Morrison overreached, and now taxpayers are out of pocket because he f**ked up (again) trying to deflect from his pandemic mismanagement (slow vaccine roll-out, unprepared for shifting to RAT tests, etc etc).
