Well we can't say we didn't have a good run.... They've been at all time lows and diving further for the best part of the last decade. There was always going to be a time when they went back the other way...I got an interest increase notice for my mortgage 3 weeks ago - I got another one on the mail today.
What a f**king joke.

I’ve got 1.98% locked in for another 18 months. Not looking forward to it jumping to 8% that day.Sure. But it's been rapid. I'm glad I locked mine in till Dec 2024.
It’s definitely there, particularly in government and other big employers that can afford to trade productivity for virtue signalling. Think Deloitte, EY and the like. In these environments it is heresy to even question it.Is wokeism even a thing mate.
I mean sure there's a heap of merkins fighting culture wars on the Twitter, but for the most part, particularly in this country, I don't see it beyond the media.
Dear diary, today I busted out the new Rolex and you should have seen the looks I got!For work I do.

Hmm... someone's been drinking the Sky News / News Corp kool-aid.It’s definitely there, particularly in government and other big employers that can afford to trade productivity for virtue signalling. Think Deloitte, EY and the like. In these environments it is heresy to even question it.
And you're not drinking the ABC Kool aid?Hmm... someone's been drinking the Sky News / News Corp kool-aid.
They chalk it up as marketing. So like Deloittes are trading off productivity for virtue signalling?
Can you give an example of how this might be a thing, where a major corporate number cruncher can't see how their "wokeism" negatively affects their bottom line, or even worse they can see it, but just do it anyways?
Well this is how they appease the workers they throw at Bob’s problems, by making noise about social issues elsewhere. Have you never dealt with these people? To be fair I should add that yeah multinationals do their fair share of virtue signalling, but that doesn't make them "woke", not even close.
Hey great mission statement, awesome work with that inclusivity statement, but right now I've got Bob the billionaire on the blower and all he gives a f**k about is how much f**king tax he's payin'.
Does anyone actually fall for this shit?
I don’t watch the news. I’ll occasionally have a look at abc.net.auHmm... someone's been drinking the Sky News / News Corp kool-aid.
They’re a lot better than they used to be. At some stage they seem to have taken their partisanship criticism on board. Who knows though, with Labor back in they’ll probably drift back to activism. And you're not drinking the ABC Kool aid?

Are you talking about productivity or profitability? So they do "marketing" , presumably to gain more business, but their "marketing" negatively affects their productivity. But that's ok 'cause you simply account for productivity losses by expensing it to marketing.
Sounds like "go woke go broke" might be a thing.
'cept that doesn't seem to be the case. On account of them being a hugely profitable multinational.
f**k this wokeism is hard to fathom mate.
Well they were too far left. You’d hardly call them right wing these days. Or would you?Yeah, they've definitely shifted right.
