Cost per ticket? PM if you don't want to post.

Thanks in advance.

The wife looked it up but i think it was around $8k for the cruise for us and the 2 kids. That was when they had a sale on so probably around $10K standard price. But you have to add gratuaties, shore tours and the flights home so could end up around $15K

no way!! i was just on voyager in december on a cruise to tasmania
p.s. unless you like STRONG coffee take your own :sto:

I do like my coffee strong
What were the drink prices like. We were looking into getting the packages but i $30 a day for the non alcoholic just seemed a bit too much when all i would drink of that is coffee and soda water.
And $55 a day for beer also seemed a little steep. I can't see me drinking 8+ beers a day everyday to make it worthwhile

Can I have a ranking please for Cruises. I'm not talking QEII,'but you know what I mean. Thinking of going to my first.

Mate I've done a few now. Ranking order pretty much goes
1. Celebrity
2. Princess
3. Royal Caribbean
4 P & O
5 carnival

I've cruised with royal Caribbean, p & o and a Russian cruise line, can't remember that ones name but ship was Alexander Pushkin .Radiance of the seas is the best one I've been on, a royal Caribbean ship . In may we're cruising on princess line for the first time.

Some win on hols and some lose. When I was in Hawaii I noticed that my visa debit card loaded with US currency was short $US5000. Some merkin bought airfares on www.cheapoair.ca.

How he got my cvv number is a mystery. I'm guessing that it was a merchant that I used earlier on the hol ? I've lodged a dispute application so no doubt will get reimbursed down the track. Hassle but.

Rookie error in New York BTW. I was checking in at Delta. Woman tells me that she wants the visa card used to buy the tix 9 months ago. I didn't have it cos we switched banks because of the business. Delta wanted me to pay again. After an hour a senior supervisor ticked me through only because we were gold velocity members.

USA are backward when it comes to credit cards. Most merchants don't have chip readers and you still need to sign. Only Macy's and Zara where able to accept a chip read and pin IIRC.

I once had a dodgy airline booking on my CC. I hadnt even left sydney. It was charged in thailand.

They recommended i cancel the card n get a new one. Which i did and that was a hassle for direct debit things i had setup.

It also took 10 weeks for them to reimburse the money. I thought that was a bit long

Not every vendor requires the ccv.

I got similarly ripped off from a card that I'd used only once (I had it as back up), and it had only been used to pay for an apartment in Bristol.....and the people who had my card number never had the CCV.

Got it back eventually, but only after HSBC carried on like f**kwits for months. They lost my business immediately.

I've applied for a job where I need to sit two online tests.

One of the questions was something like:

"Category A has a mark up if 5.7%. Cat B 6.5%, and Cat C 8%. The ratio they are split into is 30:30:40.

What is the biggest mark up after you've combined them?"

Any of you smart cookies know the formula to calculate this?

Because despite my best efforts, my answer never aligned to the multiple choice answers they supplied.

The question doesn't make a lot of sense, re the 'biggest markup'. The weighted average markup is 0.3 x 5.7% + 0.3 x 6.5% + 0.4 x 8.0% = 6.86%

But 'biggest markup'? Got me f**ked....the biggest of them is obviously the 8%, but that can't be what they are asking for.
