The Chinese Communist Party could pump a lot of love back into the bald movement at the club.

Room and cash for JA to come back.

What about a new stadium lads?!

It’s been awhile.

Just spent a week in Cairns.
Nice place. Would love to go back again some day when the kids are a couple of years older.

@Gary Gutful, I checked out Hemmimgways for dinner and drinks one night. I enjoyed it.
Good beer and food, but I had to chase my f**king two year old around all night so the experience could have been better. They need to put in cages or something.

Cairns is great my Dad is from there and my aunty and her family have a farm up in Mareeba on the tablelands.

It's always nice to go up around either Easter or September/October where the weather is probably at its best.

And it's not around origin time where they can gloat.

Thought for the day: Don’t make slushies out of wild mushies.

Merkins never learn. Innocent field mushies can kill. Death caps at different stages of maturity look like coles mushies. Even the experts “measure twice, cut once”.

Weather was fine mostly.
I hate the heat, so a top of 28 degrees was perfect for me.

Swimming in the water was a bit dicey though. f**king cold when I first jumped in but the body acclimatised to it pretty quickly thankfully.

Snorkelling on the reef was top notch.

Did you see Wally*?

* I think every snorkelling platform up and down the reef has a wrasse called Wally.
