When union here hit its peak was early 2000s i would say the Socceroos weren't a strong brand and soccer wasn't where it is now. So the wallabies were close 3rd when it came to the winter codes

Now that the Soccer have shot past them and union is what 4th ranked out of the winter codes in the country. It will be impossible to recover. NRL & Fumbleball are getting bigger by the year in there respective states & codes then what it was 20 years ago.

Then on release, if they elect, they can join up to a program that prevents the effects of the drugs.

Yes AU rugby is on it’s knees. It seems that the junior development pathways that they have is not working. Maybe the kids are opting for league or other sports.

Also I’m going to defend Eddie Jones here. He’s not a shit coach as social media are yelling at him. He led England in a fabulous stint beacuse they had a great squad. Took over AU and they had a shit squad. The results reflect the team had to work with. For some reason the underperforming wallabies are blamless and the coach cops it traditionally.

It doesn’t matter how good a F1 driver you are, if you don’t have the fastest car, you won’t feature at the front of the grid week in week out. Ask Lewis Hamilton.

I sort of agree you could put the greatest coach ever to coach Rugby into the wallabies whoever that is and they wouldn't be able to turn around the shithouse wallabies.

The Chairman proved what an egomanic he was earlier this year taking potshots at Rugby League every day for 6 weeks after they signed Suualli. They ARU have reaped what they sew.

If Eddie has his time over again he wouldn't have taken the job whatever legacy he had from his 1st stint at the wallabies is all but diminished by this circus. He will be more remembered more from this debacle then whatever achieved first time around.
