He is a massive opinionated penis but I wouldn't wish what he is going through on anyone.

Hope he pulls through OK.

Canberra political journalist Samantha Maiden has pleaded guilty to drink driving.

A prominent Canberra political journalist faces a possible jail term after admitting to drunk driving and ignoring police instructions.
Samantha Maiden, 43, the national political editor at The Sunday Telegraph, yesterday pleaded guilty in Goulburn Local Court to two charges of not obeying police directions and one count of driving with a mid-range prescribed content of alcohol on March 20.
Police alleged Maiden recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.136 and told officers she had consumed about five glasses of champagne between 9pm and 1am, The Goulburn Post reports.
The driver was spotted by police near Kingsdale about 2.10am and led police on a 1km pursuit, the report said.
Maiden’s solicitor noted the journalist had no prior convictions and she had completed a drug and alcohol awareness program.
According to the newspaper, Magistrate Darryl Pearce ordered a presentence report to “look at alternatives to a jail sentence,” but noted the driver was “on the wrong side of the road and there was a police pursuit”.
“It is a very serious matter, make no mistake,” the magistrate told the court.
The case was adjourned to resume at Goulburn Local Court on May 18.
As the case is still before the court, Maiden declined The Australian’s request for comment.
The Sunday Telegraph is published by News Corp Australia, which also publishes The Australian.

Imagine the coverage this would have gotten if it was an NRL player. Funny how differently this was reported seeing it is one of their own.

Or a labour MP or leftie commentator

zzz

What does that have to do with anything?

When she was accidentally called a "mad witch" by Peter Dutton the leftie press was offended on her behalf even when the "victim" didn't give a f**k. From what I understand stories from Fairfax and the ABC on people from the left are on actual issues and always positive. Headlines on anyone who isn't a part of their leftie echo chamber are on trivial shit like eating raw onions or sexist watch-checking.

Also she is pretty left???

Garry, when are you playing barnbougle? If I had my time again I'd play lost farm day 1. Play barnbougle of a morning day 2 dodging the wind and then barnbougle again day 3 in the arvo playing the course at its best in the breeze.

If you need an extra for your group them I'm your guy.

Imagine if a Lebanese TV crew came here, payed $115k to a few local criminals to kidnap children from a parent intent flying them out of the country. We would all loose out shit.

These 60 mins merkins are in trouble.

Idiots. Talk is that they'll all do time over there.

Hard to disagree with that. I was watching an interview with a bloke that does this type of work and he was highly critical of the way this group operated. He did admit though that his group does operate outside the law of other countries. I feel for the mother I would do anything to get my kids back in that situation, especially since the courts here gave her custody. Pretty naive though to let the father take them there for a holiday though. Also I see the father doesn't blame her and said he would do the same thing in her situation which brings us back to gronks original statement. 60 minutes people get what they deserve in my opinion

Playing in two weekends time and then following up with Cape Wickham and Ocean Dunes afterwards.

Will be at Hobart for a conference beforehand so I will play Tasmania and Royal Hobart while I am there as well.

Barnbougle is great but I have to say that I am getting ridiculously excited about the King Island courses.
